Colliers, the leading global commercial real estate services firm, announces it has hired Matt Nowaczyk as a Senior Vice President to join the firm's rapidly growing Hospitality Practice Group as part of U.S. Capital Markets.In his new role, Nowaczyk will work alongside group leader Mark Owens, who is one of the foremost experts in the hospitality industry. Nowaczyk brings to Colliers over $5 billion in transaction experience, representing a variety of internationally recognized clients. During the span of his career, he has cultivated strong lender and investor relationships and has attained comprehensive knowledge of real estate economics and hotel capital markets. His proficiency extends to deal structuring, skillfully matching clients with the optimal capital source for each transaction.Prior to joining Colliers, Nowaczyk worked at JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group where he completed more than 70 transactions, including investment sales, recapitalizations, construction financing and loan sales. He also successfully executed and originated more than $5.5 billion in debt and equity transactions. In addition to his real estate acumen, Nowaczyk is an accomplished architect and developer. Drawing from his tenure at the award-winning architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Architect and previous development positions, Nowaczyk's diverse background will further strengthen Colliers' hospitality practice group, which boasts over $40 billion in recent lodging transactions.
