In his role, Al Mojil will be responsible developing, directing and overseeing the hotel's cultural visions and strategies.With more than 17 years' of experience, Al Mojil has held managerial positions in HR departments of multiple industries. He has worked across retail, healthcare and the e-commerce sector. In his new role he will use his experience to maintain employee relations, manage recruitment and ensure the retention of staff.He will also be expected to help the team with personal and professional development, compensation administration and handle the legal matters related to HR at the property.Prior to his appointment at the Saudi hotel, Al Moji was a country manager for HR at Souq.com, he has also worked at companies such as IKEA International, Carrefour and the Al Faisaliah Group.

Raymond Hall has been appointed as Head of Human Resources for the Americas at Jll in Chicago, USA

Hall will serve as a member of JLL's Global HR Leadership Team and the Americas Executive Committee - working closely with Americas CEO Greg O'Brien - and will head the Americas HR Leadership Team. Joining from the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies where he served as CHRO, Hall will relocate from Salt Lake City to Chicago. Anita Russell has been appointed as Human Resources Director at Fairmont The Palm

Russell will be responsible for helping the hotel grow its pool of trained staff and she will direct the hotel with new system implementations. Russell has more than 23 years of expertise, previously acting as coordinator at Crowne Plaza in Australia and then the recruitment manager at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). She made her entry into the GCC region when she was appointed as HR director at IHG and later The Jumeirah Group Luxury Hotels & Resorts. She was then made HR director at Emaar Hospitality Group, then talent manager at a leading retail company. She finally settled at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, having completed six years as HR director for Fairmont Dubai. She now joins The Palm venue in her latest role.

Jan McCormick, managing director for both properties, made the announcement. Christina Mackey previously held the position of executive human resources director for Remington Hotels of Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida. Earlier she served as director of human resources for the Wyndham Hotel Group in the greater Pittsburgh area. Ms. Mackey resides in St. Petersburg, Florida.
