Sandra McDowell has been named Director of Human Resources at Stonewall Resort at Stonewall Resort

Sandra McDowell was previously director of human resources for William R. Sharpe, Jr., Hospital of Weston, West Virginia. She earlier worked in human resources and sales management for Lowe's Companies, Inc.Ms. McDowell is a graduate of Clarksburg Business College, and a past Furniture Division board member of Catawba Community College. She resides in Buckhannon, West Virginia.

Janice Parks has been named Chief Human Resources Officer at First Hospitality

First Hospitality announces the appointment of Janice Parks to Chief Human Resources Officer and its Executive Leadership Team. Parks brings 14 years of experience in human resources to her new position as well as a formal education in executive leadership. In her new role, Parks is responsible for developing and executing all aspects of First Hospitality's people strategy, including talent management, organizational development, culture transformation, thought leadership, executive coaching, and more. Prior to joining First Hospitality, Parks worked for the McDonald's Corporation in Chicago where she held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion, and most recently, Global Human Resources Officer where she led strategic human resources for the $27 billion restaurant business in 22 U.S regions across multiple functions. Parks has additional experience working in strategic marketing and communication roles with PacifiCare Health Systems, the County of Orange, Office on Aging, and United Way. She's also led community initiatives such as Success by 6 and California's 5 a day for better health campaigns. A California native, Parks earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton and a Public Relations Certificate from the University of California Irvine. She is also a graduate of McDonald's Executive Leadership Program and recipient of the McDonald's President Award, which is given to the top 1% of high performing employees. Janice is active in her community supporting efforts that embrace diversity, inclusion, and engagement.

Milet Lukey has been appointed as Vice President, Talent and Culture – Americas at Rosewood Hotel Group

Previously Vice President, Talent and Culture at Auberge Resorts Collection, Milet Lukey joins Rosewood with an impressive background that boasts over 25 years of experience in leadership roles at luxury hospitality houses. Before joining Auberge, Milet worked with SH Group Hotels, the management company that launched Baccarat Hotels and 1 Hotels and also oversees SH Collection properties. Additional experience in the industry includes a substantial tour with The Dorchester Collection, as well as fifteen years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

Bobbie Mesa has been appointed as Director of People at Virgin Hotels

Bobbie Mesa is a certified Human Resources professional who brings over 18-years of experience to the role of Director of People. In this position, Mesa will work closely with the Vice President of People to nurture and bring the Virgin Hotels company culture to life. Mesa joins the team from d-ream where she designed and implemented the human resources function for four new restaurant concepts. Prior to d-ream, she worked at Acqualina Resort & Spa, Zuma, Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa and The Alexander Hotel. A graduate of Florida International University, Mesa holds both a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management. Soon after Graduate School, Bobbie continued her education and received her certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Miami in 2008.

Pierre Basmadjian has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Amwaj Rotana

Pierre Basmadjian Amwaj Rotana's director of human hesources has held various executive positions including corporate director of HR at the Rotana Corporate Office and pre-opening HR director of the Novotel and Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan and Yas Island Rotana & Centro Yas Island.An Armenian national, Basmadjian, whose experience spans over 15 years in the hospitality industry, will be responsible for driving the property's human resources strategy and day to day operations.

Phil Donnelly has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Travelport Headquarters in Berkshire

Phil was most recently Chief Talent Officer at Borden Ladner Gervais, one of Canada's largest full-service law firms. Prior to that he was Chief People Officer at White and Case, an US-headquartered global law firm. Phil has also worked as Managing Director of Human Resources for the private equity investment firm Dubai International Capital and European Head of Human Resources at Willis Towers Watson, a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company. He spent five years as Global People Leader for the Ernst and Young Corporate Finance business.

Kristin Iversen has been appointed as Director of Learning and People Development at Hotel Equities Group, LLC

Atlanta-based hotel owner, operator and development firm, Hotel Equities (HE), announced that Kristin Iversen has been promoted to director of learning and people development. In her new role, Kristin will help facilitate the expansion of Hotel Equities' industry best hotel management training programs. Kristin will report to Nancy Curtin Morris, VP of learning and people development for HE.

Michelle Camacho has been promoted to Director of Human Resources at Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites,

Michelle Camacho has been promoted to Director of Human Resources. She was previously Complex Associate Director of Human Resources for Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. Camacho began her career with Loews Hotels & Co 17 years ago at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel and has served in a variety of human resources roles during her tenure.

Christina Gregg has been named VP Human Resources at Pyramid Global Hospitality

Christina Gregg brings nearly 25 years of senior human resource leadership experience to her new role with Benchmark. She previously worked with the company on a contractual basis supporting strategic human resource initiatives systemwide. Prior to this, Ms. Gregg held leadership positions in human resources for Marriott International, Gaylord Entertainment Company and NBC Universal, Universal Orlando.

Debbie Brown has been named recipient of the first annual HR in Hospitality Lifetime Achievement Award at HR in Hospitality Conference
