EVEN Hotel Charlotte Announced

The 181-room, nine-story hotel will be located in downtown Charlotte, close to numerous banking, financial and corporate offices, as well as major attractions including the Bank of America Stadium, the Spectrum Center, NASCAR Headquarters and the Charlotte Convention Center. This new-build hotel will have 1,600 square feet of meeting space, a business center, Athletic Studio and onsite parking. Expected to open in Q1 2019, the EVEN Hotel Charlotte is owned by Mayfair Street Partners, which is also developing a new Hotel Indigo property in Winston-Salem. This will be the first EVEN Hotel for North Carolina.

On Thursday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m., The Kessler Collection, a portfolio of nine passionately created and artistically inspired boutique hotels and restaurants, officially broke ground on the highly anticipated Grand Bohemian Hotel Charlotte. During the groundbreaking ceremony, state and local dignitaries including Mayor Vi Lyles, City of Charlotte Economic Director, Tracy Dodson, CEO of Center City Partners, Michael Smithand key executives from The Kessler Collection recognized the dedication and vision for the project. Key development partners Vice President and Global Brand Leader of Marriott International, Jennifer Connell and Executive Vice President of JE Dunn Construction, Mike Bartlett, were also in attendance.

CBRE today announced that Tommy Crozier has joined Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS) as executive vice president and leader of the firm's CBRE Hotels valuation platform. Mr. Crozier will be responsible for developing, leading, and coordinating a national team of hotel appraisal specialists in key markets across the United States. An industry veteran, he has nearly 20 years' experience in specialized hotel practice. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mr. Crozier will report to Richard West, executive managing director, Valuation & Advisory Services. He will work closely work with Tom Huffsmith, senior managing director, CBRE Hotels, and with CBRE's industry-leading hotel research group.
