The operator's debut in Chicago will form part of Sterling Bay's mixed-use development at 300 North Michigan Avenue, situated between the Riverwalk and Millennium Park. The 280-key hotel sits within a 47-storey tower that also comprises 289 residential units and 25,000ft² of retail space. Inside, CitizenM Chicago Downtown will feature an art-filled living room, 24/7 canteenM and three societyM meeting rooms. The building's facade will feature a commissioned piece by Illinois-born, New York-based Nina Chanel Abney, whose artwork will also appear in the entrance.

Dina Fenili Niekamp brings over 16 years of hospitality experience to her role as Director of Sales, Marketing & Brand at Miraval Resorts. In this position, Dina is responsible for driving consumer awareness, with a focus on the global expansion of the Miraval brand and spearheading the marketing and communications efforts for Miraval's three award-winning properties across the country. Dina also leads leisure and group sales efforts including staffing, sales optimization and the development of branding materials for direct sales.
