Premier Resorts & Management Opens Renaissance Hotel on Daytona Beach Oceanfront

Premier Resorts & Management, a full-service hotel operating company headquartered in Ormond Beach, Florida today announced the opening of the 190-room Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel. The futuristically-designed property located at 640 North Atlantic Avenue on the oceanfront of Daytona Beach is owned by 640 North Atlantic Hospitality, LLC and managed by Premier Resorts & Management.

Androse Bell has been named GM and Vice President of Operations at HVMG

Bell recently rejoined HVMG as general manager of the Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach, having previously held multiple leadership roles at the Shores Resort and Spa from 2011-2015. Prior to assuming his new position, he was general manager and regional director of operations supporting six hotels across the company's portfolio. Bell has received numerous accolades, including 2019 GM of the Year, Hard Rock Hotel of the Year and Delta Hotel of the Year twice.

Sarah Mankie has been appointed as Executive Chef at Max Beach Resort

Max Beach Resort has announced the appointment of Sarah Mankie as executive chef at the newly opened property (June 2022) located oceanfront (1901 S. Atlantic Avenue) overlooking a renowned stretch of east coast Florida shoreline. Drawing on her strong southern heritage, the Virginia native will direct culinary operations at the resort's Venn Bar, and oversee menus, staff and meal preparation for executive meetings and special events.

Androse Bell has been appointed as General Manager & Regional Director of Operations at Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG)

Since 2021, Bell has served as the lead general manager for the Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach and the Delta Hotel by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront. During his tenure, the Hard Rock Hotel earned the prestigious AAA Four-Diamond Status, as well as numerous industry accolades. Prior to joining the Hard Rock as hotel manager, Bell held the same position at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Melbourne Beach Oceanfront in Fla. and was rooms division manager at The Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, Fla., a AAA Four-Diamond rated resort. Bell joined HVMG's Circle of Excellence in 2019 and won HVMG's "General Manager of the Year" Award in 2020. He earned his MBA in business administration from Keiser University and his BS in hospitality management from Bethune-Cookman University. In his new role, Bell will continue as general manager at the Hard Rock Hotel with additional oversight of a handful of other resort and lifestyle properties.

Michael Codianne has been appointed as Director of Operations at Max Beach Resort

Codianne has spent nearly three decades in the hospitality industry at fine-dining establishments and four-star properties. Most recently, he was Director of Operations at the Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center, which is one of the leading meeting hotels in the area. Prior to this, he was Food & Beverage Manager at the oceanfront, four-star Hammock Beach Resort, as well as at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa - the largest full-service resort on Florida's Gulf Coast. Codianne's also overseen restaurant operations at the upscale Copper Grill steakhouse in Birmingham (Ala.) and managed the food and beverage and purchasing department for the Delta Queen Steamboat Company. He received a dual Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in Business Administration and Hospitality Management.

Becky Darnell has been appointed as General Manager at Hampton Inn Daytona Beach Speedway Airport

Driftwood Hospitality Management today announced the appointments of new general managers at three of the company’s Hilton Worldwide properties. Becky Darnell joins the 122-room Hampton Inn Daytona Beach Speedway – Airport team from the same position at the Clarion Inn Airport in Fletcher, N.C. She began her career in the airline industry before coming onboard with Driftwood in 2005. Since that time, Darnell has risen through the ranks at Driftwood, serving in a variety of roles, including assistant general manager, general manager, controller and human resources director. Darnell graduated with a B.S. in Business and a minor in English from Texas A&M University.
