Kate Thompson has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Renaissance Hotel – Denver Downtown City Center

Thompson holds a strong background in the hospitality industry, having served most recently as area director of sales and marketing for Sage Hospitality in Nashville, Tennessee. She has also worked as director of sales and marketing for Union Station Hotel in Nashville and The Curtis Hotel in Denver.

Brian Leiker has been promoted to General Manager at Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center

Brian Leiker, a 19-year veteran of the hospitality industry, has been promoted to general manager of the 230-room Renaissance Denver Downtown City Center, located within downtown Denver's historic former Colorado National Bank building. Leiker has been with Stonebridge Companies for 13 years and most recently served as general manager of the 302-room dual-branded Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites Denver Downtown Convention Center. His strong track record of success includes bringing hotels into the top percentile of their respective brands for guest satisfaction scores while growing revenue and market penetration.

Now Open: Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center

Two of Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) innovative hotel brands, Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton, announced that the opening of their latest properties, the dual-branded Tru by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center and Home2 Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center, is set for Friday, Nov. 1. The 382-room dual-branded hotel, with 176 Tru by Hilton rooms and 206 Home2 Suites by Hilton suites, is located at 801 15th Street in downtown Denver. The property is owned and managed by Stonebridge Companies, a leading and privately owned hotel owner, operator and developer headquartered in Denver. The new 22-story dual-branded hotel is conveniently located near top Denver destinations including the Colorado Convention Center, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Pepsi Center and 16th Street Mall.

Hyatt Announces Plans for Thompson Denver

Amy Healy has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) Denver Union Station

Healy joined the HGI team with more than 20 years of hospitality management experience. Previously, she was the opening general manager for Geronimo Parks, where she created and oversaw the opening project's budget, staff and implementation of the park's internal culture. Healy also led the Hotel Indigo Denver team as its opening general manager. She oversaw the opening of the 180-room hotel and full-service restaurant, created the hotel's opening budget, organized teams and drove the project forward to meet deadlines and milestones in its opening year.Prior to Hotel Indigo Denver, Healy was with Island Hospitality Management, and, previously, more than 13 years with Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants in several roles, from front desk manager to regional/area general manager.
