Hossam Nabil has been appointed as General Manager at Cheval Maison-The Palm Dubai

Nabil will lead the team at Cheval Maison's first international property outside the UK, which is located on the trunk on the Palm Jumeirah. He has more than 20 years of experience working in hospitality, having led a number of hospitality teams across the Middle East and north Africa. The properties that he has worked with are the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Groups and IHG, Millennium Hotels & Resorts, and Rotana Hotels. He has also been involved with the launch of more than 20 new four- and five-star hotel openings across the regions, working in the sales and marketing team, and as the hotel general manager.

Mark Willis has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts

As the Chief Executive Officer of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts worldwide, Mark Willis is responsible for the luxury brand's revered portfolio of more than 100 hotels in operation and under development globally. He brings to the role more than three decades of high-level industry experience with international hospitality brands IHG and Sun International, as well as the Radisson Hotel Group where he spent many years in senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President Middle East, Africa and Turkey. A master of his craft, Mark holds an MBA in International Business from Oxford University in the United Kingdom and has completed several senior management programmes at Cornell University, New York. Prior to taking the helm at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts he was the Chief Executive Officer for India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey at Accor, overseeing a portfolio of more than 520 hotels in operation and development across 20-plus diverse brands.

Panos Loupasis has been promoted to MD for Turkey, the Middle East and Africa at Wyndham

Omar Elezab has been promoted to Food & Beverage Manager at SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences

With over 12 years of experience in the luxury F&B industry in Spain, Italy and Dubai, Elezab has significantly contributed to SLS Dubai's growth. He has been promoted several times in the span of two years. Elezab who began his career at SLS as an assistant general manager before becoming Carna's general manager after just two months in May 2021, has spearheaded the launch and management of the successful F1 Carna pop-up and initiated Fi'lia's Taste of Dubai participation. Boosting SLS Dubai's nightlife offering under his watchful eye, he led the renovations of the iconic Privilege Club on the 75th floor, ushering in a new era for the famed hotspot.
