He will now handle operations for both Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Media City and Park Inn Hotel Motor City. Previously, Roberts was the F&B director for Radisson Blu in Media City, a role he stayed in for over a year and which also marked his first time in the emirate, having previously worked across the UK for a number of different grounds.
Jumeirah Group has made history by appointing its first female Emirati executive housekeeper. Lamia Al Murid steps up to the role at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, promoted thanks to her "dedication, passion and ability to constantly exceed guest expectation," Jumeirah said. Muneera Al Taher, senior director of human resources and Emiratisation at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts shared: "I am delighted to announce the promotion of Lamia Al Murid as executive housekeeper at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, making her the first female Emirati holding that position."
