Mills also served as Director of Food & Beverage at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra from 2014 to 2020, where she made significant contributions to the hotel's culinary excellence. Mills has also been running her own consulting business since 2021, showcasing her dedication to the food and beverage industry. As Director of Food & Beverage at Luminary, Mills will guide the success of all dining outlets and the complex banquet team, working closely with Chef Pankrath.

Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers has completed a significant renovation of its 126-room hotel located at 12600 University Drive in Fort Myers. As part of the renovation, updates were made across the entire property such as t he hotel lobby and common areas, all 126 guest rooms and suites, The Garden Grille and Bar on-site restaurant, and nearly 3,000 sq. ft. of event space across 4 meeting rooms. The total cost of the renovation project totaled close to $3 million and was completed by Granite State Contract Furnishings.

Luminary Hotel & Co. announced today the appointment of Bob Megazzini as general manager of the 243-room hotel that will light up downtown Fort Myers in late 2020. Megazzini will oversee the hiring of new staff, day-to-day operations, and guest and employee satisfaction at Luminary Hotel, along with the remodeled Harborside Event Center, which will be rebranded, and the planned amphitheater in Centennial Park.With more than 30 years of experience at several Marriott hotels around the country, Megazzini started his career in the kitchen and worked his way up to Executive Chef at multiple Marriott hotels. After a successful culinary career, he transitioned to food and beverage director and later to director of hotel operations. Megazzini was most recently the area general manager for the JW Marriott Denver and Courtyard Denver Downtown for three years. He and his wife have relocated to Fort Myers from Denver, Colorado, and are both excited to call sunny Florida home.
