Ken Wong Pi Hou has joined Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa as Beverage and Food Manager

Mr. Killian Donoghue, General Manager of Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa is excited to welcome Mr. Ken Wong Pi Hou who joins us as Beverage and Food Manager to the Ren Koh Samui Team. Ken comes to us from Phulay Bay, A Ritz Carlton Reserve, Krabi as Restaurant Manager. Prior to this assignment, he was Management Trainee at Phulay Bay and was subsequently promoted into the Live Leader program.

Rory Campbell has been appointed as General Manager at The Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort

Effective immediately, Rory Campbell has been appointed general manager of the Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort. Formerly the director of sales and marketing at the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort, Campbell has extensive senior executive experience at hotels in Australia, Hong Kong and Spain, including the Anantara Bophut Resort and Spa in Koh Samui.

Stanley Chang has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Six Senses Samui

Stanley started his hospitality career at the legendary Mirage in Las Vegas as assistant restaurant manager in 2006 shortly after his graduation from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In late 2007 he headed east and closer to home, where he was drawn by the crystal clear waters and pristine isles of the Maldives. Stanley remained in the Maldives for four years working at two of the destination's most renowned luxury resorts including One & Only Reethi Rah and Taj Exotica Resort and Spa.

Woothigrai Mungjit has been appointed as Executive Chef at Conrad Koh Samui

Prior to his tenure at the Pullman resort in Phuket, Chef Woody spent more than seven years as Executive Chef at two luxury resorts in Khao Lak, Phang Nga province and has also worked as Executive Sous Chef for more than two years at luxury resort properties on the Denarau Island in Fiji. Originally from Phuket, he started his career in the kitchen in 1992 and have since gained many years of experiences from hotels and resorts in Phuket, including 4-year experience as the restaurant chef at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa.

Timothy Rawlinson has been appointed as General Manager at Centara Villas Samui

Timothy is a British national. He graduated with a vocational degree in travel and tourism business and hospitality from Aylesbury College, UK. He has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality business and has worked with leading hotels such as The Old Bridge Hotel in the UK and the Britannia Inn in the USA. He has also worked as general manager of several well-known restaurants in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. Prior to being appointed as General Manager of Centara Villas Samui, Timothy was Operations Manager at Maafushivaru Resort Maldives.

Stefano Ruzza has been appointed as General Manager at Conrad Koh Samui

Ruzza joins Conrad Koh Samui from Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort in South Korea where he held the position of general manager and was responsible for leading the team in improving overall service standards as well as introducing new food and beverage concepts to enhance guest experiences. Prior to that, he was the director of operations at Hilton Colombo in Sri Lanka where he looked after operations and general management, as well as the business development team between 2008 and 2010. Originally from Switzerland, his work has taken him to countries such as India, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Singapore and Vietnam. Ruzza graduated from Swiss Hotel Management School (SHL) in Lucerne. He is an Italian-swiss hotelier who can speak fluently in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.
