Paul Murphy has been appointed as General Manager at Grand Hyatt Muscat

Grand Hyatt Muscat announced the appointment of Paul Murphy as its new general manager from the end of this month. Hailing from Australia, Murphy began his career in food and beverage sector, which led him to work for some of the world’s leading hotels in the UK, Canada, Japan, Russia and back in Australia, before joining Hyatt. He was appointed director of catering at Grand Hyatt Dubai and was then promoted to director of events. For almost five years, he headed the hotel’s Convention and Catering Sales team. In January 2011, Murphy became resident manager of Hyatt Regency Delhi, where he spent 18 months, before being assigned to oversee rebranding and launching of the five Hyatt hotels in India. In September 2013, he became general manager of Hyatt Regency Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan.

Mohammed Yassine has been appointed as General Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel Muscat

Yassine joins from Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Downtown where he served as the hotel’s general manager. Prior to that, he was based in Sharm-El-Sheikh where he also served as the general manager for the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson Resort. He also previously headed up the Radisson Blu Resort El Quseir as well as the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Cesme in Turkey.

Lore Koenig has joined The Chedi as Executive Regional Director of Sales and Marketing

The Chedi Muscat announces the arrival of Lore Koenig, who has returned to Oman as the Executive Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Lore will be responsible for the overall strategic sales, marketing and communication of the hotel locally, regionally and internationally, ensuring it continues to be positioned at the top of the market.
