Mosaic Hotel Collection, a group of award-winning hotels in coveted destinations across Northern California and Mexico, is pleased to announce the appointment of Cody Felice as Managing Director of The Elene, Napa Valley’s newest boutique resort and dining experience, opening in fall 2026. Concepted and managed by Mosaic Hotel Collection and developed by St. Helena-based Napa Valley Land Company, The Elene is uniquely located along the Napa Valley Vine Trail and will feature 50 guest rooms and suites; a signature upscale restaurant with a renowned chef presence and open-hearth cooking; an all-day café designed as a welcoming neighborhood hub; a heated vineyard pool and Thermal Garden; and a robust cycling program – all designed to foster engagement between the community and the natural landscape. Felice is currently Vice President of Operations at Mosaic Hotel Collection, where he oversees the company’s portfolio of MICHELIN-recognized luxury properties. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of daily operations, focusing on delivering elevated guest experiences, innovative programming, and an authentic connection to the Napa Valley community.
Michael Pace has joined Archer Hotel Napa as general manager. With more than thirty years in hospitality, including leadership roles at iconic San Francisco hotels such as the InterContinental Mark Hopkins, Clift, and W Hotel, and over a decade with Kimpton Hotels.

Experienced hospitality leader Erin Poders has been named to the general manager role at SENZA Hotel, a 48-room boutique hotel in Wine Country. Poders is charged with enhancing the overall guest experience and will work hand-in-hand with operating partner Bentley Legacy Holdings following the acquisition of the hotel by hospitality-focused, family-founded investment groups Cienda Partners and Pendant Capital.Poders will be responsible for the day-to-day management of SENZA Hotel, which serves as a special retreat with tucked-away seating areas featuring private views of the nearby vineyards. His oversight includes the property's five separate buildings, including the historic 1870 Parker Mansion, as well as the hotel's staff, events, and food & beverage offerings.

(NYSE: CHH), made its official debut in Napa, California, with the grand opening of the Cambria Hotel Napa Valley Silverado Trail. This marks Cambria's fourth hotel in California and second among the state's world-famous wine regions, joining the Cambria Hotel Sonoma Wine Country. Representatives from Choice Hotels, owner Stratus Development Partners, and local dignitaries attended the grand opening to commemorate the occasion. Stanly Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection, a new luxury resort and residential property in Napa Valley, has appointed Avi Haksar as General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with more than 20 years of luxury experience, Haksar will oversee all operations for the 700-acre property that is anticipated to open in November 2021.
Having lived and worked in over 17 hotels around the world, Burt comes to The Meritage Resort and Spa and Vista Collina Resort with several years of sales experience, most recently at The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, where he was the director of sales and marketing. Prior to that, Burt spent time with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, working in both sales and as general manager at properties in San Francisco, Sonoma and Beijing. In his new role, Burt will lead the sales team as the area director of sales, bringing new business opportunities to the properties.
With over 30 years of experience in the world of hospitality, Ryan was most recently the general manager of the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Pennsylvania. Having worked in six countries and throughout the United States, Ryan has opened five hotels and two luxury condominiums, while holding senior roles with iconic brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Sofitel and Hyatt. In his new role, he will oversee and provide strategic leadership for The Meritage Resort and Spa, Vista Collina Resort and Vino Bello Resort business operations.
Carneros Resort and Spa, a luxury resort in Napa Valley, completes its renovation to all 94 cottages and suites. The resort now boasts extensive interior and exterior upgrades to complement its modern farmhouse theme and premiere location in wine country, including redesigned interior bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms, upgraded outdoor terrace amenities, and new gas fire pits. This multi-pronged renovation follows a complete spa renovation in July 2018.
Carneros Resort and Spa is pleased to appoint Ty Brassie as Director of Sales and Marketing for the 28-acre luxury property in Napa Valley. Brassie joins the executive team following the property’s recent appointment of Managing Director Edward Costa. Brassie brings more than 26 years of hospitality marketing and sales experience to his new role and will oversee the entire marketing program and sales operations for Carneros Resort and Spa. Brassie’s impressive background includes managing 10 recognized luxury resort properties in numerous travel destinations, such as Miami, Freeport, Los Angeles, and Boca Raton, among others. His sales and marketing career has taken him near and far since starting with Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa in Maui, Hawaii (1999). Brassie went on to hold prestigious leadership positions at luxury properties, including The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples, Florida, Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California, and La Cantera Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to joining Carneros Resort and Spa, Brassie was in Southern California as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills (2014-16).
Carneros Resort and Spa welcomes Edward Costa as Managing Director for the 28-acre luxury resort in Napa Valley. In his new role, Costa will spearhead all resort management and operations for the recently rebranded and renovated property, which is home to 86 luxury cottages, 10 suites and private homes, three dining destinations, two pools, and a ‘farm-to-treatment’ inspired spa. Originally from the Boston area, Costa brings more than 28 years of industry experience, specifically 27 years working with luxury resorts. A natural born leader, Costa held positions in operations and food and beverage departments in both boutique and large-scale hotels. Additionally, Costa brings experience in managing award-winning properties in desirable metropolitan areas on both East and West Coasts. Costa launched his hospitality career as Manager of the five-star Boston Harbor Hotel (1990-2003), where he took a hands-on approach, working within all departments, and led the operations for the property’s food and beverage program. Seeking new challenges, Costa become a partner and General Manager of the former Vinalia restaurant (2003-07), and then Director of Operations and Manager of The Battery Wharf Hotel in Boston. In 2009, Costa relocated to New York City as the Executive Director of Food and Beverage of the historic Waldorf Astoria New York. Following this position, Costa catapulted his hospitality management career and took on general manager roles at three more luxury properties: Hilton Boston Downtown; The London West Hollywood; and The London NYC (2013-16). Growing up in a small town outside of Boston with a large family, Costa’s passion for the hospitality industry began in high school. He appreciated the newfound experiences and loved interacting with guests. Prior to joining the hotel industry, Costa attended the College of the Holy Cross and Bentley College in Massachusetts. An active philanthropist, Costa is an avid supporter and board member of various charitable organizations, such as the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation; Joshua Frase Foundation, supporting the ongoing research for myotubular myopathy; and the Sean McDonough Charitable Foundation, raising funds for children’s charities throughout Massachusetts. In his free time, Costa enjoys dining at new restaurants, wine tasting, and traveling the world.
Archer Hotel Napa, due to open in Spring 2017, has named two key appointments to the executive team: General Manager Michael Collins and Director of Sales and Marketing Kini Sanborn.
