Antoine Berberi ESSEC IMHI 1988 has recently be promoted to Regional Vice President of Operations San Francisco, Commune Hotels and Resorts/Destination Hotels managing the Hotel Vitale and overseeing 15 properties in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Seattle and Mexico. Antoine began with Thompson Hotels in NYC and continued to grow with the company as it merged with Joie de Vivre Hotels (JDV), and subsequently became Commune Hotels & Resorts, a global lifestyle company with three distinct brands: Thompson, Tommie and JDV. Kelly Clark joined the InterContinental Mark Hopkins team in February 2015 as Assistant Banquets/Outlets Manager, coming from an impressive background with the Southern California-based Patina Restaurant Group. Kelly's first hotel property, she brings experience from high volume, fast-paced restaurants, concession stands, markets cafes, and fine dining establishments to the team. As newly appointed Banquets Manager, she leads the Banquet Department, as well as manages the Assistant Outlets/Banquets Manager.

Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Amy Delegal-Fox director of sales & marketing for Hotel Zelos, a Personal Luxury property located in San Francisco, California. Sietse Nabben, general manager, made the announcement. Amy Delegal-Fox was most recently area director of sales and marketing for Evolution Hospitality, responsible for the Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf and Hotel Adagio, both of San Francisco, California. Previous to this, Ms. Delegal-Fox was director of sales and marketing for the San Mateo Marriott of San Mateo, California. Earlier in her career, she was senior convention sales manager for the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau. Ms. Delegal-Fox is a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana, located in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She resides in Berkeley, California.

Justin Isana has been promoted from Senior Sales Manager to Senior Corporate Sales Manager for the InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco. Justin has been a dedicated employee at the InterContinental San Francisco properties for seven years, working various roles in guest services and sales. In his new role as Corporate Senior Sales Manager, Justin continues to showcase his serious work ethic and drive by generating new business for the hotels and meeting revenue goals.
Juliane Chalabi’s career path to the InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco includes experience in the communications, sales and promotion, education, and restaurant industries. After earning her Master of Business Administration in Hotel Management with Finance at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland, she joined the InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco as part of the future leader program, which allowed her to experience various aspects of the hotel. She later took on the position of Assistant Banquet Manager & Meeting Concierge and was recently promoted to Catering Manager.
One of the newest additions to the InterContinental Hotels of San Francisco, Michelle Barnard joins the team as Sales Manager from the InterContinental London Park Lane where she held the position of Business Development Manager for the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, events) group. Her early hospitality industry experience included positions as Front Desk Receptionist, Reservations Sales Agent, and Assistant Front Office Manager at the Protea Hotel Wanderers in South Africa. She brings additional experience from the Ritz London and the Wyndham Grand Chelsea Harbour to her new role.
Elizabeth Githuka has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry with the last seven in hotels. She has been with the InterContinental San Francisco since 2008 as Reservations Agent, and was later promoted to Area Group Reservations Supervisor, adding the InterContinental Mark Hopkins to her responsibilities. Most recently promoted to Area Reservations Manager, Githuka works with a team of five Reservations Coordinators, making sure that individual guests as well as groups are handled efficiently as well as professionally.
