Accor Global President Heads Line Up of 70 Speakers for ANZPHIC 2011

Daniel Fueglister has been appointed as General Manager at Swissôtel Sydney

Daniel’s most recent appointment prior to joining Swissôtel Sydney was at Swissôtel Le Plaza, Basel in Switzerland as General Manager. A Swiss national, Daniel brings with him over 30 years of extensive operational and hotel management experience through his varied postings throughout Switzerland. Holding an MBA from the Graduate School of Business Administration (GSBA) Zürich, Daniel’s career began at the Hotel Metropol, St. Gallen in Switzerland, followed by various operational and management work experiences in several renowned hotels in Switzerland such as Hotel Chesa Guardalej in St. Moritz, Hôtel du Rhône, Genève; Posthotel, Weggis; Parkhotel Zug and Hotel Saratz, Pontresina.

Amanda Balaam has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Pullman Reef Hotel Casino Cairns

Previously Amanda was National Sales Manager for the Seasons Apartment Hotel Group based in Melbourne, and Business Development Manager for the Hotel Grand Chancellor Group. Amanda’s sales experience also extends to work with the Old Melbourne Hotel, Toga Hospitality (Travelodge) as well as 10 years experience with Ansett Airlines based in Australia and the UK. Caroline Boogaerts has been appointed as Director of Revenue Management at Four Seasons Hotel

Caroline will be joining Four Seasons Hotel Sydney on Monday 21 February 2011 from the United States, most recently holding the position of Regional Director of Revenue Management for Hilton Worldwide in Miami. Prior to this Caroline worked with the Ritz Carlton Hotel Group in the Caribbean & Mexico, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts in various locations. We are delighted that Caroline has made the decision to come to Sydney where her vast experience will provide great leadership for the Revenue and Reservations Department.
