sbe's Iconic Hudson Hotel Makes Its First International Debut In Toronto

sbe, the leading international hospitality group that develops, manages and operates award-winning brands, today announced it is bringing one of the hotel industry's most influential hotels, New York's iconic Hudson, to Toronto, Canada. Set to debut in 2024, the proposed 75,000 square foot project will be developed in partnership with Lamb Development Corp and IE Hospitality, featuring 146 rooms. Hudson Toronto will be a marquee addition to Toronto's bustling King West community, the city's vibrant entertainment and creative district. Surrounded by a lively art scene, glowing nightlife and buzzing entertainment venues, the hotel will feature an array of sbe's premium culinary and nightlife experiences, including a rooftop restaurant, a three-meal signature restaurant, expansive bar and café, among other features to be announced.

DoubleTree by Hilton Kitchener Opens Following $4 Million Renovation

Following a $4 million renovation, DoubleTree by Hilton Kitchener opened its doors to guests this week. Owned by Sunray Group, a family-owned corporation and one of Canada's fastest growing hospitality and development companies, the hotel will continue its development in the coming years, with 40 additional rooms expected to open in 2021 as well as the addition of a Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel in 2022. Once complete, the dual-branded property will mark the hotel as the first mixed-use project in the Kitchener area.

The Hazelton Hotel to embark on major renovation with original design team

The Hazelton Hotel today announced a new chapter in the hotel's story, with a forthcoming renovation project that will include a transformed guest experience and a renewed approach to food and beverage at Chef Mark McEwan's signature ONE Restaurant. The hotel and restaurant will remain open during the renovation, which is set to be completed by early summer 2020, in time for peak travel season.

Kay Bonsu has been appointed as Executive Chef at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort

Bonsu also comes to the Resort following a long history in the culinary arts. Prior to his new role, Bonsu held chef positions with Killarney Mountain Lodge & Conference Centre, Arthurs Landing, Rawley Resort, Spa & Marina and The Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto. Bonsu was also part of the culinary leadership team during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler, BC, where over 77,000 meals were served to athletes and staff.

Adrian Beers has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort

Beers joins the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort most recently from The Lake Louise Ski Resort, where he served as food and beverage manager for over a decade. He possesses over 35 years of experience in food and beverage and has hosted royalty, celebrities and prominent government figures under his management. Beers will oversee the destination's unique dining experiences, which include seven distinct restaurant and café concepts as well as banquet and wedding facilities for guests to enjoy.

Seaside Provisions: A Boutique, Luxury Hotel Restaurant Opens In North Vancouver

North Vancouver's newest boutique luxury Seaside Hotel proudly announces the opening of its restaurant, Seaside Provisions. Both are in The Shipyards District of Lower Lonsdale (Lolo)—North Vancouver's historic arts and dining neighborhood. The design blurs the lines between restaurant, bar and lounge to create a holistic dining experience in a style-infused space, referred to as The Living Room, featuring locally sourced coastal small plates and bespoke cocktails in a space decked with curated art and photography. The chic beach house ambience is completed with the addition of a focal fireplace of finely cut marble, paired with beechwood seating and dressed in exceptional wool blankets. Completing the vibe is an acoustic guitar and pair of bongo drums for guests.

Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites Debuts New Restaurant

Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites has announced the official opening of its new restaurant — Mosaic Kitchen, Bar and Lounge, which is part of the hotel's extensive renovation set to be finalized in early 2020. Located across from Pearson International Airport (YYZ) inside the 419-room hotel, the new restaurant is a culinary expression of rustic, comforting dishes with a southern Ontario and global influence led by the property's Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef, Yogi Rana.
