Newly refurbished InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort to debut in the new year

IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group), one of the world's leading hotel companies, announced a deal with Shenzhen-based property developer Kingkey Group. Under the deal, IHG will take over the management of one of Kingkey's hotels in Dameisha, Shenzhen, China. As of 1 January 2020, the hotel will formally be rebranded as the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort and will offer an upgraded selection of services and facilities. The signing ceremony for the deal was held in Shenzhen and was attended by Daniel Aylmer, IHG's Chief Operating Officer for Greater China, Hua Chen, Chairman of the Kingkey Group, and other representatives.

Co-Operation Agreement for The Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Shangri-La Hotel Project

Shanghai Airport Authority and Shangri-La Group jointly announced the official signing of a co-operation agreement for the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Shangri-La hotel project today. Leveraging on the developmental plans of the Hongqiao Business District and Shanghai Hongqiao integrated transportation hub, the new Shangri-La hotel will be an ideal venue for meetings, incentives conferences and events (MICE), plus offer the perfect catering space for social functions to locals and travellers alike. Construction is expected to commence in 2020. The hotel is targeted to be completed and operational in 2023.
