Accor adding new 207-key Mama Shelter in Paris

Were you planning a short visit to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles this summer? Now there's the opportunity to stay at our new address, the Mama Shelter Paris West, which will open its doors in August 2019 only 15 minutes from the center of Paris. Since our Group is expanding its services toward "Augmented Hospitality", this new Parisian location will also provide a co-working space called "Mama Works" that spans 400 m2 (4305 sq. ft.).

Mama Shelter Lille, France opens in August

Hotel Château Opens in the French Loire Valley

Opening today, and located just a short 55-minute train ride from central Paris, the destination-changing Hotel Château in the village of Le Grand-Lucé raises the bar in luxury, bringing sophistication and a cosmopolitan je ne sais quoi to the Loire Valley. A former country home of the Baron Jacques Pineau de Viennay, the Château has been returned to its 18th-century splendor after a careful private restoration under the guidance of the French government. Mauro Governato has been appointed as General Manager at The Peninsula Paris

With more than 34 years' experience in the hospitality industry, Governato's most recent position began in 2015 when he was named Senior General Manager for both the Four Seasons Hotel Milan and the Four Seasons Hotel Tunis - following a brief stint at Rocco Forte Hotels' Hotel de Russie in Rome, which began in early 2014. Prior to this appointment, Governato had spent seven years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, holding General Manager positions at the Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon, Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, and Four Seasons Resort Provence at Terre Blanche.
