Set along 200 metres (650 feet) of uncluttered riverfront, architect and designer Jean-Michel Gathy has conceived a fresh landscape of that integrates successive indoor and outdoor spaces through a series of cascading buildings, courtyards, terraces and water features across 3.6 hectares (9 acres) along Charoenkrung Road.
The brand also opened DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort, an idyllic tropical getaway to Thailand's southern beaches that contrasts the bustling metropolitan north and is situated on the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea. The newly converted property sits in the heart of Patong and offers guests a complete resort experience with a number of breathtaking pools and swim-up bars, an array of international cuisines at The Port and The Shore, and for a limited time, will feature a deluxe cookie-themed suite complete with an in-room DoubleTree Cookie bar and cookie scented amenities and décor.

Hotel and resort brand Aman has signed a long-term partnership with Nai Lert Group to manage a hotel and branded residences offered under a long-term leasehold ownership in Bangkok. This will be Aman's first hotel and residences in the city, and its second in Thailand after Amanpuri in Phuket.

Centara Hotels & Resorts, Thailand's leading hospitality group, has signed hotel management agreements for three new hotels in Phuket's Mai Khao Beach area owned by Maikhao Dream Company Limited. Two properties are already in operation and fall under Centara management from 11th September, while the third property is in development. The new agreements expand Centara's presence across the island to a total of nine hotels and resorts, with eight in operation.
