Benjamin Bruno Alves has been appointed as Cluster Executive Pastry Chef at Address Boulevard and Address Dubai Mall

Benjamin Bruno Alves joins Address Hotels and Resorts as cluster executive pastry chef and will oversee desserts and pastries at the Boulevard and Dubai Mall locations. Prior to his appointment, Alves was a pastry chef at two Michelin starred Marc Meneau Restaurant in France. He has also held positions in London, Paris, Taipei and Beirut.

His most recent position was Cluster Director of Food & Beverage at Crowne Plaza & Holiday Inn Al Thuraya City in Kuwait.Makkawi will undertake strategic responsibility as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage by overseeing all hotel activity, focusing on the Food & Beverage component at the hotel which include 6 award winning restaurants, the banquet and events facilities, ensuring the hotel's exceptional reputation is maintained and adding to the creative Food & Beverage offering in the hotel.

Mandarin Oriental to Manage Luxury Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced that it has signed a management contract to manage, and ultimately brand, the iconic Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Group will take over management of the property from 1 January 2020. It will be Mandarin Oriental's second hotel in the United Arab Emirates following the opening of Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai in early 2019.

Miral and Warner Bros. to Open World's First Warner Bros. Hotel on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi in 2021

Miral, Abu Dhabi's creator of destinations, and Warner Bros. announced today that the world's first Warner Bros. branded hotel - The WB Abu Dhabi - is currently in development on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Set to open in 2021, construction of the USD 112 million hotel is well underway and is now 40% complete.
