Melody Warren has been named Marketing Manager at C. Baldwin, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel soft opening in downtown Houston's landmark Allen Center this summer. Warren brings nearly a decade of hospitality marketing experience to her role at the property, which is currently operating as The DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Downtown as it undergoes a multi-million-dollar reinvention. In Warren's new capacity, she is involved in transitioning the hotel to one of Houston's best while honoring its namesake, Charlotte Baldwin Allen, Houston's unsung hero who used her inheritance to finance many of the city's early milestones.Prior to joining C. Baldwin, Warren served as the Marketing Brand Manager for Houston-based Landry's Inc., overseeing projects for The Post Oak Hotel, The San Luis Resort, Hilton Galveston and The Holiday Inn Galveston - On The Beach. Before that, she was the Marketing Manager for Hyatt Regency Houston, where she spearheaded marketing campaigns and managed strategic plans. Warren began her career with The Walt Disney Company while pursuing her undergraduate degree at Sam Houston State University.Warren is a member of the American Marketing Association - Houston Chapter (AMA) and the Texas Travel Industry Association (TTIA).

Cristiano Buono has been appointed as General Manager at Austin Proper Hotel & Residences

The brand tapped Austin locals Larry McGuire and Tom Moorman of McGuire Moorman Hospitality to oversee the property's food and beverage offerings.

Christopher Baran has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at C. Baldwin, Curio Collection by Hilton

Christopher Baran will oversee the hotel's sales and marketing efforts as director of sales & marketing.Baran will lead the sales and marketing team of the 354-room hotel in repositioning and introducing a revitalized hotel and reenergized downtown Houston. He was most recently vice president of sales & marketing at the W Las Vegas, and before that, complex director of sales for The Westin Birmingham and Sheraton Birmingham Hotel in Alabama. He has also held sales management positions in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area with Loews Hotels and in Las Vegas with The Cosmopolitan, Caesars Palace and Harrah's Entertainment. Additionally, he was the associate director of sales for M Resort Spa Casino in Henderson, NV.

Ms. Rasnick has most recently been with Hilton Worldwide since 2002, where her responsibilities included Director of Sales for Worldwide Accounts and Director of Sales Automation for Small & Medium-sized Enterprises. Her experience also includes serving as General Manager at the AmeriSuites Hotel in Dallas and in sales positions at properties such as the Holiday Inn Select in Dallas and the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Los Angeles.
