Resorts World Sentosa Singles Out VISIONLINE by VingCard® Wireless Online Locking Solution

VingCard, a leading hospitality security provider and part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, today announced the installation of its wireless RF-online system, VISIONLINE, at Singapore’s largest integrated resort and family destination, Resorts World Sentosa, located on Singapore’s resort island of Sentosa. The product will be installed in all six hotels on the 49-hectare family destination, which will also feature a casino; Southeast Asia’s first and only Universal Studios theme park; Marine Life Park, the world’s largest oceanarium; Maritime Xperiential Museum; and Equarius Water Park.

In a recent viral campaign to promote tourism to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands, Tourism Queensland awarded one lucky winner the "job" of living on Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef for six months, in exchange for him blogging about his experiences and acting as an ambassador for the beautiful region. After the campaign's huge success, Hamilton Island turned to SynXis for its technology and expertise to manage and streamline the distribution of its hotel inventory. Since its introduction in February this year, website bookings have increased more than 50 percent over the same period as last year and conversion rates have gone up over 85 percent with the new booking engine.
