Producers of HITEC Announce New Asian Technology Conference

Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®), producers of Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®), announces its new conference — Asian Hospitality Technology Education Conference (AHTEC@HOFEX). The new conference is designed to deliver to the Asian hospitality industry a direct vehicle for expert perspectives on the evolving technology market. New Zealand’s Scenic Hotel Group Sees Bookings Growth after Switching to Sabre Hospitality Solutions

The 100 percent New Zealand owned and operated Scenic Hotel Group (which includes Scenic Hotels and Suites, Heartland Hotels and Te Waonui brands nationally) recently switched 14 of its 17 properties to Sabre Hospitality Solutions’ SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) for marketing and distribution to the global distribution systems (GDS) and online travel agents (OTA). JW Marriott Hotel – First Hotel in Hong Kong to Open Public Telepresence Studio

The JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong celebrated the opening of its GoThere Virtual Meetings studio with a four-city telepresence event today along with AT&T and Cisco. The public telepresence facility at the JW Marriott is the first to open in Hong Kong and enables people to hold small, virtual meetings with customers and colleagues around the world. The JW Marriott San Francisco, that installed a studio earlier this year, connected live to the event together with Cisco Shanghai and AT&T Malaysia to congratulate the first Marriott Hotel in Asia to the network.

As the first implementation of Procure.NET in Vietnam, Xn Hotel Systems and development company Ankerdata Systems worked together to ensure a successful adaptation of the application to Vietnamese standards.

Part of this involved translating the application into the Vietnamese language.
