Erqole Continues Investments In Italy With The Acquisition Of Boutique Hotel Torre Di Cala Piccola On Argentario Island

The charming Boutique Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola in Monte Argentario, which had been owned for 30 years by Cala Piccola SpA, is now part of Erqole; a company within the Swedish group, Qarlbo AB, owned by the Jonsson family. As part of its growing Italian portfolio, Erqole owns and manages the new boutique hotel on the island, LA ROQQA, and its exclusive beach club, Isolotto, in addition to managing the restyling of Fattoria La Capitana in Magliano, province of Grosseto, and the complete renovation of Cirio, a former fishing plant in Porto Ercole that has been abandoned for 40 years and is being transformed into a luxury hotel by architect, Marco Casamonti (Archea Associati architecture studio). Through this acquisition, Erqole endeavors to broaden its portfolio of unparalleled hospitality within Argentario and reinforce the Jonsson family’s vision of long-term revitalization of the region.

Meliá Will be Unveiling the First 5-Star Hotel in the Historic Center of Cadiz City

Meliá Hotels International, Spain's leading hotel company and a global hospitality giant, has announced the signing of its 28th hotel in Andalusia (Spain). This property is slated to be the premier luxury five-star hotel in the historic center of Cadiz city, operating under the distinguished Meliá Collection brand. The hotel's launch is scheduled for 2026 and will involve the transformation of two adjacent architecturally protected buildings on Alameda Apodaca, nestled between Zorrilla and General Menacho streets. These buildings, located in the San Carlos neighborhood and parallel to the sea, will give rise to this boutique hotel.

Vail Resorts to Acquire Crans-Montana Mountain Resort in Switzerland, the Company's Second Ski Resort in Europe

Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Crans-Montana Mountain Resort in Switzerland from CPI Property Group ("CPIPG"). Crans-Montana Mountain Resort spans over 1,400 meters (approximately 4,593 ft) of skiable vertical terrain, and 140 kilometers (approximately 87 mi) of trails. Accessible from five airports and by train, Crans-Montana Mountain Resort is located in the Valais canton of Switzerland, approximately two and a half hours from Geneva and less than four hours from Milan and Zurich. The resort is two and a half hours away from the company's other owned and operated European resort in Andermatt-Sedrun.
