The Luxury Collection, part of Marriott International, Inc., today announced the grand opening of Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris. Owned by the Dokhan family, Hôtel de Berri offers eclectic, bold and refined designs devoted to the Parisian way of life. Meticulously styled by designer and artistic director Philippe Renaud, Hôtel de Berri features 75 guestrooms, including 35 suites, as well as Italian restaurant Le Schiap and cocktail bar Le Bizazz. The hotel's preserved 3,000 square metre landscaped garden is a precious legacy of the building's illustrious past.

Eric Viale was previously the Area General Manager for Portugal and brings a wealth of experience to this new role from his 23 years in the hotel business. Over the last 15 years, he has worked in a multitude of positions within IHG, spanning commercial and operations leadership roles both in corporate offices and hotels. Viale will be responsible for driving commercial and operations performance across the Southern Europe franchised hotel estate, including key markets such as France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Both roles report to IHG Managing Director Europe, Karin Sheppard.

From June 2018, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris welcomes Jean Claude Wietzel as Regional Vice President and General Manager. ollowing a 16-year long career with Four Seasons, Wietzel makes the move from his most recent post as Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii to Europe to oversee his new region from the iconic Parisian hotel.After a Master of Business Administration in International Hotel Management in France at IMHI (Cornell University - ESSEC) and an international career, Wietzel joined the Four Seasons family in 2002 as the Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel New York.
