Andreea Cheratoiu looks back on nearly 20 years of experience in hotel management and operations. She joined Radisson Hotel Group in 2007 as Front Office Manager at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest, where she was subsequently promoted to Director of Operations. Andreea's first General Manager assignment was at the Park Inn by Radisson Ekaterinburg in 2014, and soon she made her way as the Cluster General Manager for three Radisson Hotels in Latvia. In 2019, she relocated to Poland to manage Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, Warsaw in the center of the Polish capital.

Radisson Hotel Group announces the opening of Andersia Hotel & Spa Poznań, a member of Radisson Individuals, marking the brand's debut in Poland. The Group's current Polish portfolio consists of 17 hotels in operation, with further openings planned in the coming months to grow the portfolio in market to 23 hotels, representing more than 5,200 rooms in operation and under development.

Weakened traveler confidence, combined with strict COVID-19 measures, saw Poland’s outbound tourism numbers shrink to a fraction of what they were in 2019, says GlobalData. Figures from the leading data and analytics company reveal that outbound tourism from Poland declined by 62.7% year-on-year (YoY) from 2019 to 2020, to just 6.8 million international departures. However, international visits are projected to grow in 2022 and beyond as restrictions are eased across the globe.
Following a franchise agreement with Szczecin Hospitality Group Sp. z o.o., Hampton by Hilton Szczecin East is set to open its doors in January 2024, becoming the first Hilton property in Szczecin, Poland's seventh largest city and home to the country's largest commercial seaport. Szczecin is directly connected to other European countries by railroad and ferries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Sweden. The 103-guest room hotel will be situated in the heart of the commercial district of Szczecin, on the east side of the Oder River. Amenities will include a business hub, a fitness centre and two meeting rooms, which can be converted into one larger meeting room for events.

Leading the InterContinental Düsseldorf as General Manager, she also supported the Holid ay Inn Frankfurt Alte Oper, Holiday Inn Express Berlin Alexanderplatz, Holiday Inn Express Munich City West in her Area position.Britta started her professional career in the 90s with an apprenticeship at the Hyatt Regency in Cologne from where she moved to her first position abroad at the Hyatt Carlton Tower in London. Later destinations included the Fairmont Vier Jahreszeiten and the Park Hyatt in Hamburg.In 2006 Britta joined IHG® Hotels & Resorts at the InterContinental Frankfurt.

Royal Tulip, a hotel brand that is part of the Louvre Hotels Group, will open a new 5-star resort on the coast of the Baltic Sea in Kolobrzeg, Poland in early June. The hotel is the first Royal Tulip Hotel in Europe. Louvre Hotels Group and Zdrojowa Invest & Hotels have signed an agreement and are looking forward to opening the 114-room resort in early June.
