The soon to open Origin Westminster becomes part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' portfolio

Origin Westminster, a Wyndham Hotel - Surrounded by a variety of outdoor activities including hiking and biking and within the newly constructed Downtown Westminster, this hotel is will be ideally located between Denver and Boulder, Colo. With 128 beautifully designed guest rooms including seven suites, the hotel offers a freshly designed blend of local touches and appealing amenities that cater to all types of guests. The hotel will also have an onsite restaurant and bar, Famille, and will serve refined Colorado-inspired fare and craft cocktails. The hotel is scheduled to open in April of 2021.

Schmidt has been a Westin Riverfront team member for the past four years, starting at the Front Desk and moving up to serve as a Guest Service Manager. He previously worked at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Flagstaff and The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. A graduate of the International Hotel & Restaurant Management program at Northern Arizona University's W.A. Franke College of Business, Schmidt volunteers with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

With more than 20 years of luxury experience, Woody will oversee all operations for the 83-room and 71-residence property that is poised to unveil a comprehensive renovation in December 2020. Prior to joining Auberge Resorts Collection, Woody was the General Manager of Spring Place, a collaborative workspace and membership club for global professionals and entrepreneurs in New York City. Woody also served as Area General Manager for Morgans Hotel Group, and before that, as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park and Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Towers in Manhattan.

Aloft Denver North Westminster to Open in The Orchard Town Center

Aloft Hotels, Marriott International's innovation incubator brand, built with a forward-looking lens and the infrastructure to experiment with emerging technologies, announced that the Aloft Denver North Westminster is set to open this Monday, September 7. The 120-room hotel located at 14780 Delaware Street will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by 14780 Delaware 1 LLC and managed by Renascent Hospitality of Greenwood Village, Colorado. Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colo. has completed a renovation of its 124 guest rooms including newly remodeled bathrooms as well as new paint, furniture and fixtures. Since 2016, San Diego-based RAR Hospitality has been managing the branded hotel including its renovation and in February 2020, Chicago-based hotel management company, Hostmark Hospitality Group assumed RAR's hotel collection including Quality Inn & Suites Garden of the Gods, managing the completion of the renovation.
