Zaldy Cordova has been appointed as General Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott

Waterford Hotel Group recently announced the appointment of Zaldy Cordova as the new General Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Danbury, CT. The 78-room Residence Inn is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.As General Manager, Cordova will oversee all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the Residence Inn Danbury. He has 20 years of hospitality experience, including positions as Assistant Front Office Manager for the Embassy Suites New York, and Assistant General Manager for the Hampton Inn South Plainfield. Cordova joins the Danbury team from his most recent position as General Manager for the Hampton Inn Danbury.

John Loyacano has been appointed as Director of Operations at Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport

John Loyacano has been appointed as Director of Operations for the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport, located in Windsor Locks, CT. In his new role, Loyacano is responsible for overseeing all rooms and food & beverage departments of the hotel, including budgeting, scheduling, associate training and development, inventory, as well as strict adherence to all Sheraton and Waterford Hotel Group standards. The 237-room Sheraton Hartford is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. , a national hotel and convention center management firm.

Anish Patney has been appointed as General Manager at Sheraton Hartford Hotel

Anish Patney has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, CT. The newly renovated, 237-room full-service hotel is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, Inc., a national hotel and convention center management firm. With more than 17 years hospitality experience, he has held numerous positions across several franchises, including Marriott, Starwood and Hilton. In 2000 Patney served as a Restaurant Manager at the Hilton Dedham in Boston, MA, and since that time has held such positions as Director of Outlets for the Sheraton in Framingham, MA, and Director of Banquets at the Westin in Providence, RI. He joined Waterford Hotel Group in 2006 as Director of Banquets for the Marriott Hartford Downtown in CT, where he was later promoted to Director of Food & Beverage. Patney most recently served as Director of Operations for the full-service, 285-room Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT. Patney holds a Diploma from the Institute of Hotel Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies from the Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, a Master of Business Administration degree in Hospitality Administration from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, and a Certificate in Restaurant Revenue Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.

Holly Anderson-Bender has been named Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott

Holly Anderson-Bender has been named Director of Sales for the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT. Anderson-Bender brings extensive hospitality sales experience to the team at Courtyard Marriott Cromwell. Her roles include Director of Sales & Marketing positions at several Connecticut hotels, including the Stamford Plaza Hotel & Conference Center, Trumbull Marriott, Westchester Marriott, and Dolce Hotels & Resorts in Norwalk and Southbury. Anderson-Bender most recently served as Director of Sales & Marketing for The Study at Yale Hotel in New Haven. Jeff Kohl has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer at Red Door Spas

Helen Carr has been appointed as Director of Sales at Residence Inn by Marriott

Carr received her undergraduate degree in tourism and hospitality management from Central Connecticut State University and is currently working toward her MBA with a concentration in marketing at the University of New Haven. It was while she was an undergraduate that she first began working in the hospitality industry. Carr started at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in New Britain, Connecticut as a senior front desk representative and part time housekeeping supervisor.

Kiley Johnston has been appointed as Director of Sales at Homewood Suites in Wallingford-Meriden

Johnston joined White Lodging after graduating from James Madison University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Her studies focused on marketing, finance, management and business operations. "I am excited and eager to learn about the Hilton brand and ready to grow our market share," she said. Kara Spinnato has been appointed as Director of Sales at the Courtyard by Marriott in Norwich and SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Waterford

She currently resides in Franklin, CT.
