Ho Tram Beach Resort in Vietnam Selects InvoTech UHF-RFID Uniform System

The five-star Ho Tram Beach Resort will open its doors in early 2013 with 541 luxury guest rooms and a full spectrum of world-class amenities. InvoTech implemented its solution linked to four White Conveyors U-Pick-It automated uniform delivery doors with UHF-RFID antennas to record when staff takes possession of clean uniforms. A UHF-RFID bulk uniform reading station is installed to process all uniforms in and out of the property's laundry. The system reads entire carts of soiled uniforms going to the laundry, and instantly records rolling racks of clean garments returned to the property for employee use. Ho Tram Beach also uses UHF-RFID wireless handheld readers with InvoTech Mobile Software to count uniforms in storerooms and holding areas for accurate real-time inventory. In Vietnam, Mark Eletr has been appointed the new general manager of Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa as part of a strategic direct GM swap. Mr Eletr has left the position of general manager of Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villa Resort & Spa. Mr Eletr is an Australian-born civil engineer, where he worked in Sydney before beginning his hospitality career in 1996. Mr Eletr has worked in a number of positions covering various aspects of hospitality including a period with Carnival Cruises. Prior to his most recent position of general manager at Antantara in Koh Phangan, Mr Eletr carried out the role general manager at the five-star Bedarra Island Resort in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Mr Eletr leaves his position in Australia to join Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa in Vietnam.

Alain Nguyen has been appointed as Culinary Chef at Anantara Mui Ne Resort and Spa

Nguyen studied at the Paris Culinary Academy, where he met celebrity chef Eric Robert M.O.F (Meilleurs Ouvrier de France or Best Craftsman of France), the highest distinction for chefs in France. During his time in Paris, Nguyen also had the chance to join Alain Ducasse’s three star Michelin restaurant at the Plaza-Athenee under the culinary expertise of both Ducasse and chef Jean-Francois Piege. Later, he followed chef Piege to open his Michelin two-star “Les Ambassadeur” restaurant at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris. Nguyen returned to Vietnam in 2006. He is now in charge of Anantara Mui Ne’s five restaurants and bars.
