Auberge Resorts Collection Announces 2nd Resort in New "VieVage Hotels and Resorts" Sub-Brand

Auberge Resorts Collection, internationally acclaimed owner and operator of boutique luxury hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs, today announced it will manage VieVage Los Cabos, an intimate new beachfront resort currently in development on a treasured stretch of beachfront on the southern tip of Mexico's Baja Peninsula. This will be the second property under Auberge's new VieVage Hotels and Resorts lifestyle hospitality brand, which was introduced in June 2014.

G6 Hospitality expands to Latin America with two new brands

G6 Hospitality, known for its iconic economy lodging brands, Motel 6 and Studio 6 in the U.S. and Canada, announced today it is expanding its portfolio to include two new brands in Latin America: Hotel 6 and Estudio 6. As part of the company's plan to bring the brands to market, G6 Hospitality announced the signing of an area development agreement with Latina Promohoteles, a subsidiary of commercial property developer Promodesa Comercial, which is based in Mexico. Latina Promohoteles plans to open up to 55 new-construction Hotel 6/Estudio 6 properties by the end of 2020 in major cities across Mexico.

Fairfield by Marriott to Open in San Salvador, El Salvador in 2016

Marriott International announced plans today to open a 130 room Fairfield by Marriott in El Salvador. Located adjacent to the upscale La Gran Via shopping mall and in close proximity to large corporations such as Xerox, Citibank, the World Bank, Bayers and Siemens, the hotel will serve as an excellent lodging option for the frequent business travelers. The property will be developed by Dueñas Hermanos Ltda. (d.b.a. Urbanica Desarrollos Inmobiliarios), Caribe Hospitality and Terranum Hotels, the same the companies that own the existing Courtyard by Marriott San Salvador. The hotel will be managed by Marriott International under a long term agreement.

IHG Signs Crowne Plaza Hotel in Medellin

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the world's leading hotel companies, announces the signing of a new-build, 199-room Crowne Plaza® hotel in Medellin, Colombia.
