Shane Upson has been appointed as Director of Spa and Wellness at Lapis, the Spa at Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Fontainebleau Miami Beach's leadership team continues to grow with the announcement that respected hospitality leader Shane Upson has been appointed Director of Spa and Wellness for Lapis, the Spa at Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Mr. Upson, who is only the second appointed Director of Spa in the history of Fontainebleau, will lead the resort's spa and wellness programming into the future with a pulse on the hottest wellness trends while continuing to have a strong connection to the spa's existing values and traditions.

Ruben Toral has joined QUO as Director of Healthcare + Wellness

QUO is expanding into healthcare and wellness. To lead this initiative, QUO CEO David Keen has appointed Ruben Toral as the new Director of Healthcare. Ruben is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience building businesses, brands and physician networks in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. He is best known as a thought leader in medical tourism and for his seminal work as Marketing Director of Bumrungrad International Hospital from 2001-2007. David took this pivotal step to capitalise on tremendous growth opportunities in healthcare and expanded synergies within QUO's hospitality and tourism branding campaigns. Jackie Collens has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at The St. Regis Chicago

As Director of Sales and Marketing, Collens is responsible for exceeding guestroom and catering sales, revenue, and marketing goals. Collens brings two decades of experience from flagship, luxury hotels throughout New York City. Collens held leadership positions at the famed Waldorf Astoria and Towers as well as The St. Regis New York. Previously, she was the Asset Manager for Ty Warner, owner of Four Seasons Hotel New York. These iconic hotels further validate her invaluable industry experience and deep insight into the luxury marketplace.

Melissa Mosher has been appointed as Spa Director at Snow King Resort

With the resorts new 9,000 square foot Grand View Spa ready to debut in May 2023, Mosher brings more than 30 years of industry experience to her new role as Spa Director. Having travelled extensively around the world studying wellness, massage and bodywork therapy, Mosher is a licensed massage and RYT yoga instructor, and is affiliated with the NCBTMB, giving her national accreditation to teach massage continuing education classes. She also specializes in family herbalism and aromatherapy counsel. Prior to joining Snow King Resort's Grand View Spa, she was a massage and bodywork therapist and yoga instructor at Keystone Lodge & Spa in Colorado. She's held similar positions throughout Colorado Springs and was the Massage Program Director and full time instructor for the College of Wilmington, in North Carolina.

Sharon Saint Amand has been appointed as Director of Spa & Retail at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas

Michelle Guida has been appointed as Club Manager at Athletic Club at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley

Guida is rejoining East West Hospitality after previously serving as the Fitness Desk Supervisor at the Athletic Club at The Westin for more than two years. A graduate of Colorado State University, Guida has also served as a Human Resources Executive Team Leader for Target and an Office Manager for Coldwell Banker. An avid adventurer, Guida recently returned from spending a year in Spain.

Jennifer Razee has been promoted to Director of Club & Spa at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley

Razee rejoined The Westin Riverfront team last summer as the Assistant Director of Club & Spa. Passionate about fitness and spa management, Razee started her hospitality career with East West Hospitality more than 20 years ago. While with East West Hospitality, she held numerous leadership positions at The Westin Riverfront, the Vail Athletic Club and the Well & Being Spa in the Lionshead Marriott. She served on East West's Corporate Mountains of Wellness Committee, coordinated employee snowshoe and mountain bike teams and served as a Westin Service Culture Champion, facilitating service training standards for all new hires.

Pamela Maes has been appointed as Spa Director at Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport

With over ten years of spa and wellness experience, Maes joins Breve Spa at Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport, which was recognized as one of the top 100 Spas of America in 2020 by American Spa Magazine, from Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck. There, she held the position of Director of Spa and oversaw the spa and wellness area including the spa facility, services, and fitness from 2019 - 2022.

Paula Choi has been appointed as Wellness Specialist at Jumeirah Bali

A mystic destination combining luxurious spa experiences with the authentic healing traditions of Java, Jumeirah Bali has welcomed an experienced wellness therapist from Australia, Paula Choi. In her role as the resort's in-house wellness consultant, Paula has curated a comprehensive programme of land- and water-based activities specifically designed to complement Uluwatu's newest wellness destination, including private and group yoga, tai chi, aquatic and acupuncture sessions, complimentary weekly wellness talks, and private wellness consultations.

Miki Hirakawa has been appointed as Spa Director at Grand Hyatt Vail

Hirakawa started her Hyatt career at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki as a licensed aesthetician and later moved to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa for corporate management training. In 2013, Hirakawa transitioned to Hyatt Key West where she spent her time as the spa and concierge manager and was later promoted to assistant spa director for Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach.

Tammi Johnson has been appointed as Spa Manager at Spa H at Hotel Hartness
