ATECA Hotels has entered into an agreement with the Chartak Resort JV LLC for the management of the Grand Chortoq Wellness Retreat in Uzbekistan featuring two hotels and a vast array of facilities. Both establishments, which are part of AEHL's seed portfolio, have obtained BREEAM certification in the use of sustainable buildings and are scheduled to reopen in March (Flamingo Oasis) and May (Riudor).
Dalata Hotel Group plc (“Dalata” or the “Group”), the largest hotel operator in Ireland with a growing presence in the United Kingdom, announces it has agreed contracts with Art-Invest Real Estate (“Art-Invest”) to acquire a new operating leasehold interest in Hotel Nikko Düsseldorf. The hotel is owned by Art-Invest and Dalata with the cooperation of the hotel team, has commenced the transition process today and expects to open the hotel for guests on February 15th. This hotel represents Dalata’s first step into the Continental European market and is in line with the Group’s ambition to establish a presence in large commercially attractive European cities.

Henderson Park, the private equity real estate firm headquartered in London, announces that it has acquired the business and hotel management platform of Amaris Hospitality from LRC Group and simultaneously launched a new dedicated hotel and asset management platform called Klarent Hospitality. The acquisition follows Henderson Park’s recent acquisition of a 2,424 key portfolio of 12 high-quality Hilton-branded hotels, managed by Amaris Hospitality, which closed in November. The Amaris Hospitality name and brand does not form part of the acquisition and will continue to be owned by LRC Group.
Eden Hotels (“Eden”), the Dutch hotel group owned by the Dijkstra family, announced today that an affiliate of KSL Capital Partners (“KSL”) made a majority investment into the group. The Dijkstra family will retain a significant minority stake in the group, and Eden CEO Leon Dijkstra will remain in his role in Eden Hotels. The combined ambition is to expand Eden Hotels into Europe. Terms of the investment are undisclosed.

Last month, Travelodge, the UK’s first budget hotel chain, announced it expects to open a further four new hotels in the lead-up to Christmas, two of these hotels officially opened on the 22nd of November in London’s top growth hotspots - Elephant & Castle and Manor House.
