Natalie Hickernell has joined Reside Worldwide, Inc as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Natalie Hickernell, SHRM, SCP, joined Reside in May and is responsible for building all human resources systems, programs, policies, and procedures globally. She aims to attract and retain world-class talent to ensure Reside has the right team assembled to achieve its business objectives. Having spent 19 years at BridgeStreet Global Hospitality before moving to WYAK, Natalie's insight into HR within the corporate housing sector, as well as people ops, business analysis & intelligence, has already proven invaluable.

Christopher Amato has been appointed as Director of Culture at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG), which owns, operates, and manages restaurants and boutique hotels throughout the country, has appointed Christopher Amato to the newly created position of director of culture. His responsibilities include working alongside the company's existing leaders to ensure they're demonstrating and upholding IRHG's standards of internal hospitality, while also introducing these foundations to new IRHG employees.

Eleonora Cattaneo has been appointed as Director for the Master's in Luxury Management and Guest Experience at Glion Institute of Higher Education

Dr. Eleonora Cattaneo has joined the Glion team as of October 1st as the Director for the Master's in Luxury Management and Guest Experience. She has been previously a professor for the Building Brand Equity class within the Master. Dr. Cattaneo has obtained a PhD in Marketing from the University of Pavia in Italy, an MBA from SDA Bocconi, and BA from the University of Bristol and has extensive industry experience in the field of marketing as a consultant and senior advisor for global brands and leading luxury hospitality groups. Her research focuses on rebranding, heritage branding and sustainable buying behaviour in the field of luxury. Prior to her position at Glion, she was Director of executive education at Swiss Education Group. She was also head of programme for the MA Luxury Brand Management at Regent's University and before that she was a faculty member at SDA Bocconi in Milan where she designed and led executive education and MBA programmes.

Mariam Megally has been appointed as Program Director at Glion Institute of Higher Education

Mariam Megally is the new Program Director for Glion's Master's in Hospitality, Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Based in Switzerland, Mariam brings a breadth of international business experience to the Master's degree focused on entrepreneurship skills. She began her career as a consultant with McKinsey & Co before entering the corporate food and beverage sector at Starbucks and Nestlé, a career path which culminated in her taking the role of Starbucks Global Strategic Innovation Director for Nestlé. Since 2012, Mariam has served as Strategy Professor for the Executive MBA at Solvay Brussels School in Vietnam. She is also a judge and mentor for the global start-up accelerator Mass Challenge where she provides mentoring for start-ups in food and sustainability.

Natalie Robinson has joined Peachtree Group as Vice President of People and Culture

Jack Akai has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek

Jack Akai joins Park Hyatt Beaver Creek from Breckenridge, Colo., where he served as the director of human resources for a local utility repair company. His experience in the human resources realm also includes time with Whole Foods Market. Prior to that, he was worked in various leadership roles with several large organizations, including G.E., Capital, Samsung Telecom, and Best Buy.
