Amrita Kaul has been appointed as Human Resources Manager at Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites

Amrita Kaul started her career with ITC Hotels in 2008, working across housekeeping and guest services. She has worked with Marriott since 2014 when she joined JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi, India. She then moved to JW Marriott Marquis Dubai in 2015, where she was promoted to various roles most recently as director of services. She has joined Marriott Harbour as human resources manager and has been working on her transition into a new department.

Jennifer Horstman has been appointed as Director of People & Culture at JW Marriott Nashville

Horstman joins as the new director of people + culture. SHRM-HRCI certified with more than 15 years in human resources roles, Horstman has ample Marriott experience. Her previous properties include the Dayton Marriott, JW Marriott Camelback, JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Scottsdale Marriott McDowell Mountains & Old Town Suites, JW Marriott Starr Pass and Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

Elga Sickler has been appointed as Vice President of People and Culture at Hotel Drover, An Autograph Collection hotel

With more than 20 years of experience building and developing successful teams, Sickler brings a sense of comfort and inclusivity to the new Fort Worth stunner. In her role, Sickler is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources including recruiting, benefits training and coordination, performance management, compliance, training practices, development of employee protocols, and all other human resources strategy and operations. Prior to joining the Hotel Drover team, Sickler served as the Corporate Director of People & Culture for Makeready, an organization specializing in branding, design, and the operations of hotels, restaurants, retail, and more.

Alie Gaffan has been promoted to Senior Vice President of People and Culture at Pacifica Hotels

Gaffan has more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and has been with Pacifica Hotels since 1995. She spent the first part of her career in operations and worked her way up to General Manager of multiple Pacifica properties. She then joined the home office team as an Area Manager and continued on a path to Director of Sales and Training, Director of Training and Development, and most recently, Vice President of People and Culture. Gaffan has brought an extraordinary amount of passion and commitment to Pacifica Hotels and has been a key part in the company's growth.

Mia R. Wise has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Global HR at MMGY Global

An accomplished employee relations and operations expert with more than 30 years of experience, Mia previously oversaw MMGY Global's human resources, talent acquisition and employee engagement. She now broadens her oversight to include MMGY Global's DEI and cultural enrichment initiatives for over 400 international staff. She will continue to be responsible for all people strategies, ensuring the international workforce has both the team and organizational capabilities to enable significant company growth over the next decade.
