Alex Chiang earned his Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Catering Management at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, United Kingdom.

Alie Gaffan has been promoted to Senior Vice President of People and Culture at Pacifica Hotels

Gaffan has more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and has been with Pacifica Hotels since 1995. She spent the first part of her career in operations and worked her way up to General Manager of multiple Pacifica properties. She then joined the home office team as an Area Manager and continued on a path to Director of Sales and Training, Director of Training and Development, and most recently, Vice President of People and Culture. Gaffan has brought an extraordinary amount of passion and commitment to Pacifica Hotels and has been a key part in the company's growth.

Mia R. Wise has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Global HR at MMGY Global

An accomplished employee relations and operations expert with more than 30 years of experience, Mia previously oversaw MMGY Global's human resources, talent acquisition and employee engagement.
