The Charles, a Rocco Forte Hotel in Munich, unveils a glamorous new makeover as it completes the extensive renovation of its ground floor. The new design, created by Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen in collaboration with Olga Polizzi, features a vibrant new colour palette complimented by a lush botanical theme, which flows from the redesigned lobby, to the stylish Florio Restaurant and Bar, and through to the newly opened Circle Bar.

Rosewood Munich will open in 2023 as the brand's first property in Germany. Housed in two landmark, historical buildings comprised of the former headquarters of the State Bank of Bavaria and the adjacent Palais Neuhaus-Preysing, a former grand aristocratic residence, Rosewood Munich will be ideally situated on Kardinal-Faulhaber-Strasse in the heart of the historic city center. The hotel will be located within walking distance of several of the city's most popular sites and destinations, including central Marienplatz square, the Residenz city palace, Bavarian State Opera, and the Maximilian and Theatinerstraße shopping districts, as well as world renowned museums. Rosewood Munich will offer 132 spacious guestrooms and suites designed to complement the property's original façade and iconic stairways, which remain well preserved and contribute to the city of Munich's ensemble of historical buildings. The property will boast an inviting lobby lounge and two distinct dining venues, which include a full service restaurant and a vibrant bar. Rosewood Munich will also feature a full service spa, which will house six treatments rooms, as well as an indoor pool and fitness area. Additionally, the hotel will include extensive meetings and events spaces to accommodate a variety of private gatherings, conferences, and special events for up to 312 guests.

The Steigenberger Hotel München has opened its doors

The Steigenberger Hotel München opened for business yesterday, Thursday. It is the first hotel to operate under the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts brand in the Bavarian capital and is located in the trendy district of Schwabing. General Manager Thomas Fischer was on hand to greet the very first guests, married couple Comploj from Bozen in South Tyrol. They cut through the symbolic red ribbon across the entrance and toasted a new era of hospitality in Munich with a glass of champagne. After this ceremonial moment, the guests were escorted to their suite, where they were presented with a framed piece of the ribbon as a souvenir of the special occasion.

Holiday Inn® Munich – North and Holiday Inn Express® Munich - North (Ingolstaedter Strasse) which will be run as a dual branded property. Both hotels are part of Primestar Hospitality multiple development agreement. Holiday Inn Munich – North will feature 156 rooms, a gym, 11 meeting rooms and four smaller meeting spaces, and Holiday Inn Express Munich North (Ingolstaedter Strasse) will feature 236 rooms. The property will have a shared restaurant and will benefit from being just a few kilometres away from the Allianz Arena and BMW Museum.
