YOTELPAD Park City To Open For 2020-21 Ski Season

Today Replay Destinations, YOTEL and BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, announced the expected opening date, operations structure and the general manager for a new hotel that will open this ski season in Park City. Developed by Replay Destinations in Canyons Village at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, YOTELPAD Park City will be the newest hotel to open in Park City and the first YOTELPAD concept to open globally.

Austin Hamilton has been appointed as Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef at The St. Regis Deer Valley, RIME Seafood & Steak

Chef de Cuisine / Executive Sous Chef Austin Hamilton will interpret and execute RIME Seafood & Steak's creative menu offerings developed by Chef Harris, as well as the menus for Brasserie 7452, The St. Regis Bar & Lounge, and the Mountain Terrace. Hamilton's experience includes working under Michelin three-star Chef Dominique Crenn at Petit Crenn, and under Chef Michael Mina at the Michelin starred Aqua, both in San Francisco. Chef Harris also specifically selected Hamilton for his New England culinary background including opening Boston's Row 34 with James Beard nominee Jeremy Sewell.

Alejandro Abad has been appointed as Executive Chef at The St. Regis Deer Valley

Executive Chef Alejandro Abad oversees the management of the food and beverage operations for The St. Regis Deer Valley's kitchen including banquets, in-room dining, events and group business. Chef Abad, raised in Barcelona, Spain joined the resort from Montage Deer Valley, where he oversaw banquet culinary operations. He has spent more than 23 years learning his craft, stating his passion for food with a strong family tradition. Chef Abad honed his skills at restaurants across Europe and the Caribbean, including Restaurant Christophe and Restaurant Vermeer in The Netherlands. Chef Abad joined Sofitel Hotel's in the San Francisco Bay Area and served as Executive Chef.

Matthew Harris has joined The St. Regis Deer Valley as Consultant for Its New Restaurant, RIME

Chef Matthew Harris returns to The St. Regis Deer Valley where he opened and served as Chef de Cuisine of J&G Grill ten years ago. His illustrious career began in Atlanta where he was Executive Chef at Kevin Rathbun and Pano Karatossos' Buckhead Diner and then opened the city's critically acclaimed Market by Jean-Georges. He also trained at Jean-Georges Vongerichten's signature restaurants in New York. Most recently he experienced New England seafood firsthand as Executive Chef of Nantucket Yacht Club, then returned to Utah to open his celebrated tupelo Park City. His dishes have been featured in Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, SKI, Town & Country and he has appeared on CBS' Fresh From the Kitchen and NBC's Today Show. Chef Harris' love of food and of the outdoors (he is an avid skier and rock climber) informs his ever-evolving culinary concepts. His menu for RIME offers sustainably sourced seafood and locally sourced meats, including wild game - such as Delta Elk from Utah - in a modern take on the classic surf and turf. Seafood selections arrive daily from Maine, Boston and Nantucket and also will feature local specialty Rocky Mountain trout. Dinner entrees include Lobster Pan Roast with chorizo, aged sherry, fennel and saffron and Short Rib Rigatoni bourguignon with local mushrooms and smoked parmesan. RIME Seafood & Steak is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as private events. RIME refers to the thin layer of frost formed by rapid freezing of water in cloud or fog, often found on the hull of fishing boats.

Richard Wales has been appointed as General Manager at The St. Regis Deer Valley

The St. Regis Deer Valley, a five-star resort located on the slopes of Utah's Deer Valley announced the appointment of Richard Wales as General Manager, effective December 2, 2019. Richard brings more than 17 years of luxury hospitality experience to his new role overseeing all hotel operations for The St. Regis Deer Valley, one of the world's most luxurious destinations.

Galen Zamarra has been appointed as Executive Chef at The Lodge at Blue Sky

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection's highly anticipated Utah property opening late May 2019, today announced the appointment of Galen Zamarra as Executive Chef. In this role, he will create an inspired culinary experience on property including Yuta, The Lodge's signature restaurant featuring authentic flavors inspired by indigenous ingredients and breathtaking views.

Jessica Cook has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Lodge at Blue Sky

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection, the new luxury resort opening May 2019 outside of Park City, Utah, announced the appointment of Jessica Cook as Director of Sales and Marketing. Cook brings more than 15 years of luxury hospitality experience and extensive knowledge of outdoor and adventure travel to her new role overseeing sales and marketing efforts for Auberge Resorts Collection's first Utah property.

Adam Heffron has been appointed as General Manager at Waldorf Astoria Park City

Mr. Heffron joins Waldorf Astoria Park City with over 18 years of hospitality experience. Born and raised in Maryland, Heffron attended Towson University and obtained a degree in Political Science. In 2011, Heffron joined Hilton Hotels as Assistant General Manager in the D.C area. Since starting with Hilton, he has held several positions at various hotels including General Manager and Director of Operations. Most recently, Heffron served as Hotel Manager at Conrad New York.

Chuck Randles has been appointed as Senior Director of Lodging Operations and General Manager at Grand Summit Hotel, A RockResort

The Grand Summit Hotel, A RockResort, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chuck Randles to senior director of lodging operations for Park City and general manager of the hotel. With more than 10 years of extensive knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry, Randles will be responsible for all operations at the newly-renovated property set at the base of Park City Mountain. He will also oversee the neighboring Silverado Lodge and Sundial Lodge, as well as the opening of the new Lift and Apex properties, which are currently under construction.

Afsi Bird has been appointed as Resort Manager at Montage Deer Valley

Bird joined Montage Deer Valley in 2015 as director of rooms where she was responsible for all guest relations, including assuring top-of-line accommodations and exceptional service from the resort’s front desk and reservations office. Prior to living in Park City, Bird resided in Denver where she held various roles including general manager at Hotel Teatro and area general manager for The Crawford Hotel and The Oxford Hotel & Spa, overseeing the hotel’s pre-opening efforts. She also spent nearly two decades with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, including eight years as director of rooms at Four Seasons properties in Newport Beach, Scottsdale, Santa Barbara, and Aviara.
