Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, a spacious resort nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and on the shore of North Lake Tahoe, announces Pascal Dupuis as general manager. Dupuis joins the property from Andaz Mayakoba in Riviera Maya, Mexico. In his new role, Dupuis oversees the daily operations of the 422-room resort, including the full-service Stillwater Spa, 65,000 square feet of functional meeting space, and multiple on-site restaurants.

With a passion for food, his storied career as a culinary leader includes a variety of local and international roles, previously serving as assistant executive pastry chef at Bellagio Hotel and Casino and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, pastry chef at Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro and Corsair by Scott Conant, and sous chef at Daniel Boulud's reimagined French Brasserie, Café Boulud.

Anthony Taormina has been appointed as Executive Chef at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas

With a breadth of culinary knowledge, Taormina most recently served as executive chef under the legendary Charlie Palmer at one of Las Vegas' most recognizable Michelin Star-rated restaurants, Aureole Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, known for its four-story climate-controlled wine tower and wine angel stewards. Taormina also served as executive chef at Honey Salt, the award-winning off-strip restaurant created by James Beard Award-nominated chefs Elizabeth Blau and Chef Kim Canteenwall. As Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas' executive chef, he oversees all culinary operations for the hotel including menu development.

With 25 years of global hospitality experience, Stutz spent more than a decade with Hilton Hotels & Resorts and more than 13 years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he worked at both domestic and international properties in Germany, Dubai, Jamaica, Egypt, Miami and Atlanta. Most recently, Stutz served as hotel manager of The Hilton New Orleans Riverside and resident manager of The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel where he was part of the leadership team who led the property to numerous accolades, including two consecutive Hotel of the Year awards, a prestigious Connie Award, and Food and Beverage Division of the Year. In 2018, as the Interim General Manager, Stutz also led the successful transition of the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta to the Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead Hotel.

Joe Lupo has been named President at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas

Joe Lupo has been named President of the future Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, subject to regulatory approval of Hard Rock International's previously announced plans to purchase The Mirage Hotel & Casino from MGM Resorts International. Lupo will take over the role once the Nevada Gaming Commission licensing process has concluded. An Ohio native, Lupo has more than three decades of casino gaming experience. He was named President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in November 2018, after spending two successful years at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
