Jesse Demmers has been promoted to Executive Chef at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa

Newly promoted to Executive Chef, Jesse Demmers oversees the culinary team for the 650-room iconic resort and its on-site dining outlets 3030 Ocean Restaurant, Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar, Riva and Loggerhead Sand Bar. Demmers takes over the new position after joining Marriott Harbor Beach in 2019 as Executive Sous Chef, where he helped generate more than $43 million in food revenue. After attending school at Orlando Culinary Academy, he began his cooking career at Timpano Italian Chop House in Orlando, Florida, before transitioning to JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, where he worked from Restaurant Supervisor to Senior Sous Chef.

Michael Codianne has been appointed as Director of Operations at Max Beach Resort

Codianne has spent nearly three decades in the hospitality industry at fine-dining establishments and four-star properties. Most recently, he was Director of Operations at the Daytona Beach Resort & Conference Center, which is one of the leading meeting hotels in the area. Prior to this, he was Food & Beverage Manager at the oceanfront, four-star Hammock Beach Resort, as well as at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa - the largest full-service resort on Florida's Gulf Coast. Codianne's also overseen restaurant operations at the upscale Copper Grill steakhouse in Birmingham (Ala.) and managed the food and beverage and purchasing department for the Delta Queen Steamboat Company. He received a dual Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in Business Administration and Hospitality Management.
