Caesars Entertainment shared official renderings today for Caesars Virginia, its $500 million resort expected to break ground by the end of the year in Danville. Following incredible support by the voters of Danville last November, Caesars Entertainment has been hard at work developing plans for Caesars Virginia, which will include 500 hotel rooms, a state-of-the-art casino floor, Caesars Sportsbook, World Series of Poker Room, new restaurant and entertainment offerings, and much more.

The City of Conroe Announces New Hyatt Regency Hotel and Convention Center Project

The City of Conroe is proud to announce the planned early September groundbreaking of Hyatt Regency Conroe and Convention Center. Working with development manager Garfield Public/Private, the City announced Grand Central Park master-planned community will be home to the 250-room upper-upscale Hyatt Regency hotel and convention center. Work began on this ambitious project in 2015 at the direction of the City Council and CIDC; however, it has dramatically accelerated over the last two years.

Great Wolf Lodge Breaks Ground In Maryland For Brand’s Largest Resort

Mid-Atlantic families will have something fun to howl about in 2023 as Great Wolf Resorts, Inc., North America's largest family of indoor water park resorts, broke ground today on its newest resort in Perryville, Maryland. Great Wolf Lodge Maryland will become the brand's 20th resort in North America, and the largest, with 700-family-friendly suites and a 126,000-square foot indoor water park. The resort will sit on 48-acres on the western edge of Cecil County, making it a convenient family getaway for those in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Wilmington and many other Mid-Atlantic and Northeast communities. With construction now officially underway, Great Wolf Lodge Maryland is scheduled to open middle-to-late 2023.

Mexico’s second avid™ hotel now under construction in Guadalajara

IHG® Hotels & Resorts, one of the world's leading hotel companies, announced today that construction has started on the second avid hotel in Mexico. Expected to open in late 2021, the avid Guadalajara will be a 124-room hotel owned by Grupo Ferran. This groundbreaking builds upon the momentum and international expansion of the avid hotels brand - there are more than 200 new avid hotels under development worldwide, with Mexico's first avid hotel opening in Fresnillo in June and the first avid hotel in Canada breaking ground in October. Hotel Equities and Berry College Break Ground on Marriott Branded Hotel

Berry College held its groundbreaking ceremony Monday to mark the start of construction on the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel adjacent to the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, GA. The hotel will be managed by Hotel Equities who will provide development services throughout the hotel's construction phase. Construction is expected to be complete in fall 2021.
