Chris Burgoyne promoted to Senior Vice President of Government & Political Affairs. Since first joining AHLA in 2013, Chris has led many of AHLA's highly successful federal legislative campaigns and overseen the rapid growth of AHLA's political affairs, including increasing PAC receipts by more than 500% and building a grassroots platform that now has more than 50,000 advocates. Burgoyne will continue to lead many of AHLA's federal legislative initiatives and have a greater focus on expanding political engagement for the industry at all levels of government.

Thomas Song has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Aimbridge Hospitality

Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading multinational hospitality management company, announced the appointment of Thomas Song as chief financial officer. Thomas Song will succeed Judy Hendrick, who has announced her retirement for the first half of 2021 after 13 years as CFO of Aimbridge. Hokan Limin has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Bakuun.com

Jonathan Halkyard has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at MGM Resorts International

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) ("MGM Resorts" or "the Company") today announced Jonathan Halkyard will become Chief Financial Officer for the global gaming, hospitality and entertainment organization. Halkyard is a senior corporate executive who spent 13 years in leadership roles at Caesars Entertainment and was more recently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Extended Stay America, Inc. and ESH Hospitality, its paired-share REIT. He will report to Bill Hornbuckle, President and CEO, and succeeds Corey Sanders, who was recently appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Company.

George Dabney has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Noble Investment Group

George Dabney joins Noble's team as a Principal and Chief Financial Officer. Since 2001, George has served as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Brookfield Hotel Properties (formerly known as Thayer Lodging), the hospitality platform for Brookfield, a $575 billion global alternative asset manager, where he was a member of the firm's Investment Committee and had primary responsibility for financial administration, treasury, and investor relations. George earned his MBA in Financial Management from the University of Maryland, holds a BA in Accounting from Penn State University and started his career at Ernst & Young as a CPA. In 2019, Penn State's School of Hospitality Management honored him with their Alumni of the Year Award.

Eng San has an extensive 20 years of experience in hospitality finance which encompasses finance, accounting, and FPA experience. She previously held leadership roles in IHG.

Olivier Macpherson has been appointed as Regional Finance Director for Choice Hotels Europe at Choice Hotels International, Inc.

Olivier Macpherson has been appointed as regional finance director, Choice Hotels Europe, a position supporting the company's continued investments in the region. In this role, he will lead all financial and administrative functions for Choice's Europe operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury operations. With more than 20 years of corporate finance experience, Macpherson most recently served as regional finance director for Michael Page International in Northern Europe and Germany. He will be based in Amsterdam reporting directly to Mills, and will be part of Choice's pan-European leadership team. Under Mills' leadership, the pan-European leadership structure will set the foundation to drive financially and operationally sound investments and growth in the region. Macpherson studied law at Leiden University and business economics at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in the Netherlands, as well as accountancy and corporate governance in several post graduate programs across Europe.

Kempinski Hotels has appointed Dr. Peter Fiedler as Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Kempinski Management Board. In this position, Dr. Peter Fiedler will be playing a crucial role in overseeing the financial function and performance of the luxury hotel group and will be in charge of Corporate and Hotel Finance, Managing of Financial Resources, Loss Prevention, Compliance as well as Internal Audit among others. Dr. Fiedler brings with him more than 40 years of experience in Finance and Controlling and has been focusing on business consulting, investment and board assignments on various hotel development and management projects in the last decade. From 1982 to 1998 he has been associated with Daimler-Benz Group achieving detailed knowledge and skills of a leading industrial group while evolving from a Manager to a Senior Vice President in different functions in the finance and controlling business. In 1998, he joined Bayerische Braustiftung Josef Schörghuber & Co. Holding KG Munich as a Senior Vice President, Head of Group Finance Department and Holding Council. In 2001 he moved to Bavaria International Aircraft Leasing GmbH & Co. KG as Managing Director and CFO while meantime also becoming a Member of the Executive Board with Brau Holding International GmbH & Co. KGaA. Moreover, from 1998 to 2008 he has also been associated with Schörghuber Group Munich, occupying multiple executive mandates within the group. Dr. Fiedler holds a Doctorate Degree in Law and has an extensive corporate legal background.

Matthew W. Schuyler has been appointed as Chief Administrative Officer at Hilton

Michelle McKinney Frymire has been appointed as President, Strategy & Transformation, Chief Financial Officer at CWT in America

Michelle joined CWT in 2019 and has 18 years' travel industry experience, with CFO roles at Starwood Vacation Ownership and Delta Technology (a division of Delta Airlines), and financial leadership roles with Continental Airlines and Delta Air Lines. In addition, she held CFO positions at several private equity portfolio companies. Michelle currently serves on the Board of Directors for Family Gateway in Dallas, Texas. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Austin College, and an MBA in finance and accounting from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas.
