DiPietro brings over 18 years of restaurant industry leadership experience and expertise in Corporate Governance, SEC rules and regulations, risk management, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, and restaurant franchising. The addition of DiPietro is the latest example of Ascent's commitment to building a world class leadership team equipped to achieve its long-term strategic goals.

Sirenia Liu has been appointed as Area Hotel Controller at Pacifica Hotels

Sirenia Liu has been hired as Area Hotel Controller forPacifica Hotels. With an extensive 30-year career working in the hospitality industry, Liu spent two years as the Director of Accounting and Business Development at the infamous Hotel Indigo in Downtown LA. Specializing in the Los Angeles area, Liu kicked off her career in the hospitality industry with positions at Aloft El Segundo, Fairfield Marriott El Segundo, Luxe City Center Hotel, Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles, Four Points by Sheraton, Sheraton Delfina, and many more.

Eric McCarthy-Zink has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hotel Equities Group, LLC

Today, hotel owner, operator, and developer, Hotel Equities (HE), announced Eric McCarthy-Zink has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Eric joined the company in 2021 through Hotel Equities' strategic partnership with The Hotel Group. Recognizing his talents early on, Eric was promoted to oversee hotel accounting for the enterprise. Anika Fischer has joined DiamondRock Hospitality Company as Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Anika Fischer will join the Company as Senior Vice President and General Counsel on June 3, 2024. Ms. Fischer, age 35, will report directly to Jeffrey J. Donnelly, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, and will assume legal responsibilities from William J. Tennis, the Company's Executive Vice President and General Counsel, who previously announced his retirement effective as of June 30, 2024.

Stephen Spierto has been appointed as Chief Accounting Officer at DiamondRock Hospitality Company

Mr. Spierto, age 34, joined the Company in November 2023 and previously served as Vice President, Corporate Controller of the Company from November 2023 until his May 2024 promotion to Chief Accounting Officer. As Vice President, Corporate Controller of the Company, Mr. Spierto was responsible for overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting and technical accounting. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Spierto spent 12 years in the real estate and hospitality audit practice at Ernst & Young, LLP, most recently as a Senior Manager. Mr. Spierto is a certified public accountant and earned a B.S. and Master's in Accounting from the James Madison University.

Prior to DiamondRock, Ms. Quinn was the Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Meristar Hospitality Corporation, a publicly-traded lodging real estate investment trust. She previously held roles at a number of audit and consulting firms, including Arthur Andersen and Beers & Cutler
