Dave Karam has been promoted to Director of Club & Golf Operations at Silverado Resort

Silverado Resort in Napa Valley is pleased to announce the promotion of Dave Karam from Director of Golf to Director of Club & Golf Operations. Part of the Silverado Resort team for nearly a decade, Dave brings a unique blend of management strategy, hospitality expertise, and a deep-rooted interest in the industry to the Napa Valley destination. In his new role, he will oversee all aspects of the Club at Silverado - including Golf, Membership, and Agronomy - in addition to serving on the resort’s Executive Committee.

Jared Saft has been appointed as Chief Operating Office (COO) at Westgate Resorts

Westgate Resorts, the largest privately held timeshare and vacation experience company, announced today that 20-year Westgate veteran Jared Saft has been appointed the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Saft brings a diverse set of experiences to the role, having held leadership positions across finance, operations, and sales and marketing. Most recently, he played a key role in the addition of VI Resorts which expanded the company to nearly 60 resorts and spearheaded the company’s partnerships with both Chuck E. Cheese and Choice Hotels. Saft also currently serves as the Chair-Elect of ARDA, the American Resort Development Association, and will become Chair of the industry association in May.
