MacArthur Place Hotel & Spa, a 69-room luxury boutique hotel recently acquired by Foley Entertainment Group (FEG), proudly announces the appointment of Robyn Montes as the new Food & Beverage Director. In her role, Montes will help support the daily culinary operations for the property's three culinary concepts — Layla, the dining centerpiece of the hotel, The Bar at MacArthur and The Porch, a marketplace featuring local purveyors — weddings and social events, poolside dining, and the hotel's in-room dining program. With a rich background in the culinary arts and a commitment to impeccable service, Montes will elevate the dining experience at MacArthur Place to new heights.

Michael McGinley has been appointed as General Manager at Fouquet’s New York

With over 15 years of hospitality experience and crucial knowledge of the food and beverage industry, McGinley has held leadership positions at some of the most prestigious restaurants and hotels across the country. After completing his Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University, McGinley began his career in hospitality as a Dining Room Manager for CGM in 2005, which was the parent company for Ono at The Gansevoort, where he also handled hotel experiences for The Gansevoort and The Renaissance. He has since held various food and beverage positions, including Club Manager for B.B. King Blues Club, and General Manager of Jake's Steakhouse. In 2013, McGinley became the Director of Food & Beverage at Crosby Street Hotel, where he was eventually promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2016 and General Manager in 2021, where he remained until 2023.

Mathew Woolf has been appointed as Executive Chef at Fouquet’s New York

Executive Chef, Mathew Woolf will oversee the culinary team and menu development across the hotel's four food and beverage locations (Brasserie Fouquet's New York, Par Ici Café, Titsou Bar, and Le Vaux). Chef Woolf has cooked at a variety of some of the world's most renowned luxury hotels and restaurants, including Claridge's Hotel and The Ritz Hotel in London, Michelin-starred Restaurant Sixteen in Chicago, as well as California's WEST Hotel Angeleno, Gordon Ramsay restaurants, and Paligroup. In 2014, Chef Woolf was tapped as the Chef de Cuisine to reopen the iconic New York landmark, The Rainbow Room, where he remained until 2022 and then headed to the White Barn Inn in Maine, which is the only five-star five diamond restaurant in New england.
