Minneapolis will soon get a new hotel that its owners are describing as "industrial schoolhouse chic." Noble House Hotels and Resorts says the new Commons Hotel, scheduled to open in October, is inspired by its ties to the University of Minnesota and the industrial history of the Twin Cities.
The hospitality technology community came together in a big way last week to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC®). In attendance were over 5,200 hospitality professionals from 45 countries, a gathering HITEC hasn't seen since 2008 in Austin, Texas.
