Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE:H) announced today that a Hyatt affiliate entered into a management agreement with an affiliate of the Millat Group for the Winston Hotel in Rosebank, Johannesburg, to join the Hyatt portfolio as an affiliated hotel. The hotel will be available on Hyatt's booking channels in the upcoming weeks. Following an extensive refurbishment, the hotel is expected to rebrand to Park Hyatt Johannesburg in early 2023, marking the re-introduction of the Park Hyatt brand to South Africa, signifying Hyatt's focus on growing its luxury brands in the destinations that matter most to travelers, World of Hyatt members, customers, and owners.
RIU opens the Riu Jambo, its second hotel in Zanzibar
The hotel Riu Jambo has an unbeatable location in the north of Zanzibar's largest island, Unguja, on the idyllic Nungwi beach. The 4-star, 24-hour all-inclusive hotel has a total of 461 rooms. The main feature that sets it apart from other RIU hotels is the stilted structure that stretches out from the beach over the sea, where guests will find some of the hotel's dining services. The new Riu Jambo is right next to the Riu Palace Zanzibar, which was refurbished in 2019 and has luxurious facilities.
