Ascott Partners with Huu Toan Corporation to Debut Citadines Brand in Can Tho, Vietnam's Mekong Delta Hub

The Ascott Limited (Ascott), the lodging business unit wholly owned by CapitaLand Investment (CLI), has secured a management contract for Citadines Riverside Can Tho, a landmark hospitality development in Vietnam's Mekong Delta region. The partnership with Huu Toan Corporation - a prominent Vietnamese energy solutions provider - represents several firsts: Ascott's inaugural collaboration with the energy giant, the Citadines brand's entry into Can Tho, and Huu Toan Corporation's debut hospitality venture. The greenfield project strengthens Ascott's Vietnamese footprint, bringing the company's total portfolio in the country to 38 properties across operational and pipeline developments. Located in the heart of the Mekong Delta, the property positions both partners to capitalise on the region's growing tourism and business travel markets.

Park Hyatt Tokyo Reopening on December 9, 2025 - A Timeless Classic Refined

Park Hyatt Tokyo - the first Park Hyatt in Asia - announced it will reopen on December 9, 2025. Room, restaurant, events and spa reservations will begin on September 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm, Japan time for arrivals from December 9, 2025. Located on the westside of Tokyo in Shinjuku, Park Hyatt Tokyo occupies the 39th to 52nd floors of Shinjuku Park Tower, a modern Japanese architectural masterpiece designed by Pritzker Prize-winner Kenzo Tange. Following a comprehensive property-wide refinement since May 2024, the hotel will unveil newly designed guestrooms and suites, restored public spaces, event venues and enhanced dining destinations, including Girandole by Alain Ducasse and The Peak Lounge & Bar. The iconic New York Grill & Bar, modern Japanese restaurant Kozue, Club On The Park fitness center and spa, and The Library - a curated collection of more than 2,000 books - will be fully restored to their original designs. As part of the project, Park Hyatt Tokyo will reduce the number of rooms and suites from 177 to 171, introducing a new suite category.
