Marriott International Announces the Opening of Buenos Aires Marriott Hotel

Marriott International announced today the long-awaited opening of the Buenos Aires Marriott Hotel. Previously operating as the Hotel Panamericano Buenos Aires, the property underwent an extensive conversion to meet Marriott's elevated quality standards. Located in the heart of the city, with convenient access to must-see attractions such as the Teatro Colón, the Obelisk and the Palace of Justice, the hotel is well positioned to become a favorite among business and leisure travelers visiting this South American destination.

Marriott International Signs Agreement To Open First All-Inclusive Delta Hotels By Marriott In Riviera Nayarit, Mexico

Marriott International, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) announced it has signed an agreement to manage the first all-inclusive Delta Hotels by Marriott resort in the world, signaling that interest by investors for the all-inclusive platform launched by the company in August 2019 continues to be strong. Under the agreement, the current 117-room Grand Matlali Hills Resort & Spa resort, located in Riviera Nayarit (Mexico), is slated to undergo a significant transformation in order to meet the new all-inclusive brand extension concept of Delta Hotels by Marriott and is anticipated to be subsequently rebranded and managed by Marriott International in 2021. The resort is expected to be expanded to 300 rooms by 2023.

Ithaca Capital, Hotel ToC and Marriott International signed agreements to rebrand the hotel as a JW Marriott, under a long-term management contract with Marriott International.

Mandarin Oriental Enters South America With Hotel Santiago

Hotel Santiago opens today under Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group management, following the Group"s announcement in May. Formerly the Grand Hyatt Santiago, the property will undergo an extensive guestroom and public area renovation, the first stage of which is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2018. The hotel will remain open throughout the period, and is now accepting reservations. This is the Group"s first property in South America.
