Historic Texas Icon, The Driskill Hotel, Begins Full Renovation

Pixiu Investments, Woodbine Development and Hyatt Hotels Corporation announce plans for the full renovation and restoration of the iconic Driskill Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, in Austin, Texas. The transformation of Texas' first luxury hotel and legendary 1886 landmark will include 175 guestrooms, the lobby and common areas, meeting and social spaces and culinary outposts—with the addition of a new ballroom, cocktail bar, and curated retail space.

For the last 85 years, the Sheraton has been a global icon with deep roots in communities around the world, and is transforming hotels to create new spaces where guests and locals can connect in unique and innovative ways.The renovation was completed in several phases starting with the meeting space, lobby, restaurant and Sheraton club level lounge and this is the final phase of the renovation which included all suites and guestrooms. To celebrate the completion of the renovation, they will be offering the celebration package.
