Key International Breaks Ground on AC Hotel by Marriott in Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida

Prominent, Miami-based real estate investment and development company Key International has broken ground on an AC Hotel by Marriott, the design-led lifestyle hotel brand by Marriott International. The property, which was acquired in 2016 as three adjoining land parcels that span more than a half-acre, is located in prime Fort Lauderdale Beach, Fla., and will feature 171 guest rooms amidst 10 stories.

Tru by Hilton Breaks Ground in Columbia, South Carolina

Parks Hospitality Group broke ground on a new Tru by Hilton property located in Columbia, South Carolina. The 117-room, four-story hotel will be located at 183 Stoneridge Road and will be owned and operated by Parks Hospitality Group. Construction is expected to be completed late 2019. Tru by Hilton Columbia Greystone is conveniently located by Greystone Boulevard, near I-126, and will be the third Tru by Hilton property in the Parks Hospitality portfolio. Parks Hospitality has plans to develop three additional Tru by Hilton properties in the near future.

Radisson Blu Is Set To Open Its Fourth U.S. Hotel In Anaheim

Radisson Blu, the upper upscale hotel brand from Radisson Hotel Group, brings its fourth United States location to Anaheim, Calif. BPM Real Estate Group and Radisson Hotel Group broke ground on the planned four-star, luxury resort hotel on November 30, with plans to open in mid-2020. Prominently located near the Anaheim Resort district on Interstate 5, Radisson Blu Anaheim will be within walking distance to Disneyland resort's east entrance and the soon to be open Star Wars Theme Park, along with many renowned Anaheim event venues. The hotel will support the growth of the Disney experience and complement Anaheim's leadership in the tourism industry.

Tru by Hilton Breaks Ground in Burlington, North Carolina

Parks Hospitality Group broke ground on a new Tru by Hilton property located in Burlington, North Carolina. The 101-room, 4-story hotel will be located at 960 Kirkpatrick Road and will be both owned and operated by Parks Hospitality Group. It is expected to be complete in late 2019 and will be the first Tru by Hilton in the Piedmont Triad area. It is conveniently located off I-40, near Elon University and Alamance Regional Hospital, and will be the second Tru by Hilton property in the Parks Hospitality portfolio. Parks Hospitality will also break ground on another Tru by Hilton property in Columbia, South Carolina in the near future.

Running Aces Casino & Racetrack And Grandstay Hospitality Hold Ceremonial Groundbreaking For New Hotel

Running Aces Casino & Racetrack will be adding another word to its name: hotel. The official groundbreaking ceremony was held today to celebrate the start of a new 116 room hotel. RAHP, LLC and GrandStay Hospitality, LLC are teaming up to operate the property scheduled to open in early December 2019. Running Aces is working with architectural firm The Cuningham Group and Truline Construction on the development of the hotel.

(NYSE: CHH) and an affiliate of True North Studio, LLC announced construction has begun on the new Cambria hotel in downtown Phoenix in the Roosevelt Row Arts District. Slated to open ahead of schedule in late 2019, the seven-story, 127-room hotel will be the third Cambria property to enter the growing Phoenixarea, joining the Cambria Hotel Phoenix Chandler-Fashion Center and Cambria Hotel North Scottsdale Desert Ridge.

Omni Hotels & Resorts Breaks Ground On Convention Center Hotel In Oklahoma City

Omni Hotels & Resorts announced today the start of construction on the highly anticipated Omni Oklahoma City Hotel, a 605 guest room convention center hotel set to open in early 2021. Executives from Omni broke ground today alongside Mayor David Holt, Cathy O'Connor, president and CEO of The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City and Mike Carrier, president of the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau. The 17-story hotel located at 100 West Oklahoma City Blvd. will serve the city's revitalized downtown area including the future convention center, Scissortail Park and Chesapeake Energy Arena, home of the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder.
